Regular milk has about 13 grams of sugar/carbs per 1 cup serving no matter what percent you buy. Unsweetened almond milk has less than 1g per serving. If you're going to drink almond milk then stick to unsweetened, otherwise the switch is useless unless allergies are involved.

Between 17-23g net carbs a day.

Beans and rice? Doesn't sound very low carb to me. Also it's not very "paleo" to have un-natural reduced fat dairy products. Ohh Taco Bell....

Just make a pitcher of the stuff with actual lemon and cucumber slices infused in. Then the carbs will be negligible at best. You can also use lemon flavored stevia drops and add the cucumber in. Should be no problem with that.

Try eating more fiber if you're on a low carb diet, since it'll soften your stool and not irritate your bum. For now use those moist wipes or a higher ply toilet paper so your hole isn't irritated too much. Otherwise, there's nothing wrong with what you're doing. It could all be just an unfortunate coincidence.

There isn't too much of a difference nutritionally between thighs and breast. It all depends on what you think tastes better to you. I like thighs though. They fit my macros better since chicken breast doesn't have a lot of fat but DOES have a lot of protein. I'd rather have it the other way around.

Isopure strawberries and cream. Add some ice, unsweetened almond milk and a little bit of frozen strawberries and... Yes. Just yes.

I took lexapro for a year and my appetite grew tremendously. Mountain Dew and potato chips everyday. i'd get so angry and possessive about it that my Mom didn't even try to stop me. BAM. 50 pounds that year. That was 10 years ago. I wish someone DID stop me.

Unless you're allergic to almonds, then almond flour is perfectly acceptable to use. It's literally just ground almonds, and almonds are good for you!

With "fad" diets come the franken-food that comes with it. The trick is to lose weight with food is to eat mostly foods that you can read and understand the ingredients of. Some know more than others, but the idea is the same. Outside aisles are your best friends. But I agree with 200g of protein being high. Protein intake…

I log everything, even if it's something little. Even if it is "zero calorie". Remember most things can be called zero calorie if it has less than 5! Even the salt I add, mostly because it's lite salt and is like a potassium supplement to me. Adds up after awhile. Gotta keep the macros in check.

For exercise, quality carbs beforehand then protein afterward. Pick complex carbs high in fiber and the energy from said carbs will last longer. Protein helps afterwards for when your muscles are recovering. Put fat into the mix and you'll feel fuller longer. Boom.

They're not my stretchmarks, they're my tiger stripes. :) Embrace them: it shows how far you've really come.

I don't eat bread, but Sara Lee has a 45 calorie version of their breads. It doesn't have HFCS and is lower in sugar in general. About 13g net carbs per 2 slices. Give it a shot.

Actually saturated fats are good for you, but anyway.... I notice when people try to go on low carb diets either of these things happen: 1. They're going low carb AND low fat. 2. They're eating too much protein in turn defeating some of the purpose of low carb. 3. They're not replenishing their electrolytes with the water…

Get grass fed butter (like Kerrygold) . It's the same nutritionally but it has a stronger flavor so you don't have to use as much. But if you don't have the cash for it, then always stick with real butter anyway. It's worth the calories.

I get a burger without the bun and stick with steamed veggies or the side salad without croutons. Some buns have a ton of sodium and you can save half the calories that way. Restaurants don't mind simple substitutions like that. I do it all the time and it saves a lot of stress and hassle in the long run.

The one time I had a cheat day (because I wanted to go drinking, so I was like 'eh why not?") I felt really sick. Fatigued, sweats, nausea, the works. I didn't like feeling that way, so I'm not having cheat days every week. I may do it once a month, but only if I either feel like it or it's a big event.

Splenda doesn't have calories.

I looked at your diary and it's all over the place. Your nutrients aren't consistent day to day like they should be. Sugar was a little high for a few days. Carbs were in a good range though. I suggest someone who's not doing low carb eat about 130-175 a day, so you're good in that department most days. Check your macros,…

^ This. So much. I mean, if you want to eat your entire calories in cakes and sweets, then surely you're going to be hungry after you eat all of your calories for the day. Just doesn't seem like a good idea.

I cut out about 75% of my diet soda intake and replaced that with water. It helped with bloating and cleared me from a plateau a little bit. Instead of bringing a 2 liter diet soda into work I bring my refillable bottled water and leave the soda for after work.

I feel like as a person doing keto that there are other people giving it a bad name. It's frustrating. You can eat fruit, as long as it's below your macro levels. I for one sometimes eat raspberries and whipped cream for a dessert. You can have fruit, just don't go overboard for your personal needs.

Unless you're doing the chopped salads then I don't suggest eating at Subway. I feel like I'm eating a loaf of bread instead of an actual sandwich when I did eat there.

Put stevia drops in your water or tea! They're a little pricey but they come in a few different flavors and last forever if you use them right. Plus they're not only good for drinks, they're good for cooking as well!

They're amazing for you! It has the fat to keep you full, and the protein you need to start the day. The yolk is like a natural multivitamin, filled with vitamin E and other important nutrients. The cholesterol in the yolk is okay too. It helps keep your body going and is an important substance for your nerves, blood…

It does help. My body burns about 2450 calories a day with my activity level. I set my calories at 2000 cai/day and am usually around 200-300 calories below that. Gives me leeway. I tend to eat foods that fill me up faster, like fat/protein and fiber rich carb sources. When I eat those delicious cakes and cookies I end up…

Fruits are fine as long as they are on the lower side of the glycemic index. Veggies are great since they have the nutrients and high fiber that your body needs. Carbs give you immediate energy for workouts, while fats give you energy slowly but for longer periods of time. Your blood sugar reacts and uses these types of…
