Hi! You can add me if you like - I am a novice runner :-)

Changes are very small cos I don't have that much weight to lose, but.... hubby looked at me yesterday and said wow, those trousers are too big for you!

Just to add my 2 cents' worth: give it some time - when I started regular exercise and calorie counting (52 days ago!), I had the exact same problem, I used to wake up 3-4 times a night, just for a few minutes. After 2-3 weeks that went away by itself though, and now I might wake up once or not at all, plus i feel like I…

I'm the same as you Muggle, and fruit just doesn't do it for me! - I try to leave some of my calories for after dinner and have a small bit of chocolate or a small choc dessert or something - have a look at my diary if you like for ideas!

Well done you! I am 35, with a 4-yr-old son, been on mfp for 45 days. It has helped me so much to stay motivated, I have NEVER dieted for so long, and definitely never done this much exercise before in my life. Please accept my request so we can keep each other motivated!
-
Love, love, love your motivation!!!!

A football team practicing in the field while I run around it - did TWICE as well last time!!!

Me! I have decided to wait a month between weigh-ins because I get obsessed with the scales... MFP keeps me motivated enough :-) Next weigh-in is Nov 16th, hopefully I will see some good results.

I do Jillian Michaels workouts, interspersed with running and swimming (6 days a week total), and I am 1.65 m and 62 kg. I burn about 180 cals on level 2 of RI30, based on my HRM. I usually follow it up with 6 week six-pack or something, to get an hour's workout in total.

I'm not an expert by any stretch, but I would say just keep running as much as you feel happy with - who knows, maybe you will improve your finishing time!

I always feel like I go into hibernation, especially after New Year's, even though I live in Greece! I find that it is easier for me to go straight from work to the gym, rather than go home and then have to go out again - this year I have also arranged to take my son to his swimming classes (during which I swim too)…
-
Always!!!
-
Good luck Sean, you can do it!
-
Good luck! I'm new to this too, and am finding MFP very, very helpful! Feel free to add me.

You are such an inspiration!

Thanks all! It was high intensity, but having had pasta the night before I thought I would be fine.... Will try having half a banana or something next time, and see how it goes..
-
You are such an inspiration! Well done!

Great idea! I'm Sofia, 35, mum of a 4-year old, and I live in Greece. My goal is to lose the weight i gained when i stopped smoking, and then some! I have started exercising regularly since July, and dieting only this week. I find myfitnesspal very inspiring, and hope to have as many friends as possible - to keep me…

Congratulations!
-
Claire sweetie I know how you feel.. But you have your whole life ahead of you to become a wonderful, smart, interesting woman! I would say find a sport that you enjoy doing and stick to it - forget about dieting!!!
-
Hi, please feel free to add me, too. We can do this together!!!

Congratulations!
