I would recommend the plain ones not the lacy ones - the plain ones work great so long as you get the sizing right but with the lacy ones I just got chafed in the pattern of the lace 😅

Hi, I'm Jenn, 26. I used MFP a few years back when I was studying for my undergrad and exercising a lot training with the lifesaving team. Sadly during the last 2 years doing my masters I piled on the weight. I lost a little bit for my wedding last August but gained more since then over my final year and placement. I eat…

Just got engaged so restarting with mfp - 11 months until the wedding, so I need to stay active! I'd love some friends to help me stay on track

Hey guys, I'm getting married on 19th August 2017 and would love some friends to help me keep on track - ideally I'd like to drop a dress size before I go wedding dress shopping!

It's the travel time I'm more worried about. If I'm already on campus then going to an hour long class takes just that hour. If I go elsewhere to lift, I have to factor that time in. My friend lifts at a different gym, because our uni gym gets pretty crowded (with massive 'bro' type lifters!) and the membership's pretty…

That it is indeed possible to hold 3 tankards of beer in one hand.

No. I'll tell you what though, hot black tea with a spoon of honey and a dash of lemon do wonders for a sore throat.

Not originally from West Midlands (Surrey girl) but currently studying in Birmingham!

22 looking to lose about 30lb - feel free to add me!

I've got a friend who lifts a lot and I've chatted to him about starting. He said that everyone gets judged to a certain extent when they start unless it's obvious that they're learning, so he's offered to teach me and be my 'shield' from nosy judging lifters! I have two worries - one, that I would be ruining his workout…

I would say it's absolutely fine, and I like having the freedom to do so. That said, I don't do it personally - not because I think it's wrong, or not 'feminine' enough, but purely because I lack the confidence! The couple of times I've let people know I'm interested haven't gone terribly well, and also I have a weird…

I dropped from UK size 16 to size 14. When my family were asking about it and I said I was aiming for size 12 by summer but hopefully 10, my sister said 'There's no way you'll get to a (UK) size 10, you're not built small enough. It's not possible.' Her reasoning was that she wears 12 and is slim. Excuse me? You're also…

That's amazing, thanks! I'll definitely be giving that a go!

I had to get new trousers as I didn't have any that didn't fall down, and I thought that might look unprofessional while teaching my lifeguard course this week! Now in UK size 14s - ecstatic! Given me new hope for my size 12 goal before my friend's wedding in July :)
-
I'm 22 and in my final year of university. Feel free to add me! I log as accurately as I can most of the time, but I get a little thrown off by the 'essay writing munchies'...

Here's a UK code - WHLLJCCPP I think 4 more people can use it :)

Goal 1: To fit in a size 12 (UK) bridesmaid's dress for my friend's wedding next summer. (Or 10 if possible.) Currently 14 top, 16 bottom. Goal 2: To prove to my big sister that a size 10 is not impossible for my body shape. Goal 3: Make the university Lifesaving nationals team. Goal 4: Become Batman.

21 year old languages student - studying German and Russian. One year left at Birmingham (UK), looking forward to getting back to walking distance of our sports centre!

I'm 21! Anyone feel free to add me, could use some more friends for mutual support :)
-
I'm from the UK as well, feel free to add me! I've been on MFP a couple of months :)
-
I have a goal clothes size rather than a goal weight - the size I want my bridesmaid's dress to be next summer!
-
I'm 5'4", 21. Don't know starting weight, but current is 175 and goal is whatever I weigh when I can wear UK size 10 clothes! :)

We've had Jensen, where's Jared?!

Apologies for the quality, I had to boost the brightness to make up for the bad lighting! Not a spectacular transformation, but this is day 1 and day 30. (Also apologies for the size. I thought I'd made them smaller, but apparently not!)
-
I don't actually know starting or current weight (the one on my profile's a guestimate), so I'll do it by clothes size: Age: 21 Height: 5'4 Starting size: UK 16 (they're now getting kinda baggy) Goal size: UK 12 (and depending on how that looks, ultimately a 10) I did 30DS last month, and I've just finished the first week…

Definitely trying these, thanks!

(Amelie) Musical, fun to hang out with! (Darryl) Bodyguard? Or maybe a bouncer!

Lovely smile.

Thanks for the advice guys! I started Ripped in 30 today, we'll see how it goes. I'm planning on doing 30ds again with my friend when she starts tomorrow as well, we'll see how that goes!
