  • I don't drink often, but I do like cherry vodka and club soda. Infused vodkas have enough flavor and sweetness for my taste and cutting out high calorie mixers helps keep me on track. Plus, high sugar drinks contribute to a massive hangover! And drink water in between cocktails.
  • Totally this! More muscle now will serve you well as you age.
  • I have known two women who have had this problem after significant weight loss - and one with the exact opposite, heavy periods reduced to light ones after weight loss. Weight loss may indeed be the culprit as being overweight has quite an effect on hormones - namely estrogen. Excess fat can spur excess estrogen production…
  • Happy that it is Friday and get some beach time with my guy this weekend! Maybe even today!
  • 2 days ago I stopped in at pollo tropical - the half chicken was calling my name! Depending on what u get, it barely qualifies as fast food though. I keep fast food runs to maybe 2x a month. I get cravings for taco bell as well, though I haven't eaten there for at least a couple months. A burrito is sounding good!
  • I too love fage greek yogurt. I usually add a little honey or fruit as it is a bit on the sour side but the texture is great - not to mention it is packed with protein! I also like the greek gods brand - the honey vanilla flavor is heavenly (though it has too much sugar for me to eat it often).
  • Depends on how many times a week you plan to work out. I work out 5 days a week on average, so I have at least 6 sports bras just in case I fit in an extra sweat session before laundry day.
  • No need to get snippy. I just think miss bama needs more muscle. My opinion. And I do like a burger once in a while.
  • I really like the toned look of miss USA! As a gal with an athletic build, I appreciate her figure and what it took to get there. Miss Alabama needs a burger.
  • Depends on what you mean by heavy. Biology hard wired males to look for 'good breeding' stock with wide 'birthing hips' and fat deposits to ensure healthy well nourished offspring. Not super skinny. That said, women are supposed to be looking for strong, masculine, alpha males and I see a lot of skinny jean wearing…
  • I really enjoy malty beers, but since the calories can add up I treat beer (and alcohol in general) like a dessert. Plan a day or two when the calories won't matter as much and enjoy! Plus it will keep your sanity in tact!
  • you look great! Sweet deadlift - lifting heavier is where I saw the best results, especially in the stems  Not sure bout the socks tho...

  • Ditto on the curry! Adding the right spice can make good veggies even better - plus many herbs and spices have their own health benefits. Look into Indian cook books - they are filled with tasty vegetarian dishes that serve as great vegetable side dishes.
  • The only thing that gets to me are obviously sick gym goers. If I'm sick I try to stay away from crowded places - like my gym! Be kind and keep the germs to yourself. Anything else - not bothered. I just shove my ear buds in and I'm in my own world and in the zone
  • I'm 5'5" and have been 125 only once that I can remember - getting ready for a figure competition when I starved myself and lived in the gym! My normal weight is about 135 and in jeans US size 4-6 depending on the brand. 4 from American eagle and 6 at Armani. I really do think many clothing companies have made their sizes…
  • There are some concerns that artificial sweetners can tax the liver, not significantly, but if ingested on a consistent basis may hinder the liver's ability to oxidize fats at its usual rate as resources are diverted to deal with these extra chemicals floating around in your system. Artificial sweetners may also affect…
