  • I was in that place once. Sadly and disappointingly I am back to square 1. Originally starting at 244, I set a goal of 150. The lowest I got was 162. My job changed to a less physically demanding position, and all hell broke loose. Now I'm at 258. I have to start all over again. It's hard, but you don't have near as far to…
  • Hey Heather. I'm 38, Ben on here for several years. Started my journey at 244, got down to 160, but over the past year let myself get back up to 200. My goal is 150. Please feel free to add me. I want to help motivate each other!
  • I didn't mean clean as in cleaning the food. Clean eating means eating foods that don't have a lot of junk in it. Whole foods...fruits, veggies, lean meats, nuts... foods like that.
  • Eat cleaner foods, meaning foods with as little ingredients as possible. Walk. It's the easiest exercise out there and it works. If you feel that you need more activity, try doing intervals. make a playlist according to pace. Start your walk as a warm up going at a regular pace for the first song. Make the second song a…
  • I see that popcorn has been mentioned. I know popping your own is more cost effective, but I really like the Jiffy Pop 100 calorie bags. I get the Kettle Corn one, but I also just bought the buttered one yesterday. I like it because it's a little crunchy, salty and sweet, and only 100 cals. If I eat it for dessert after…
  • I don't necessarily eat right away, but I do eat before I leave for work. My job is physical, so eating breakfast helps. I'm usually up for at least 40 minutes before I eat, then I have Greek yogurt and granola, or if I have extra time, I cook an egg and make a wrap with Flat Out and avocado. Little salt, pepper and curry.…
  • My mother insists on calling it poison. She calls everything poison. Know what her favorite food is? Hot dogs! I remind her that hot dogs are one of the least healthiest foods ever. I believe pop...diet or otherwise...is okay in moderation. I like Diet Dew and Diet Dr Pepper. I don't drink it every day, but I have no guilt…
  • Request sent. You can do it!
  • You all can do this! I lost 80, with more to go, but I'm back up by about 30. I have about 40 to get to my goal. Feel free to add me. I love motivation others because it helps me too.
  • Hello to all! I've been a member for quite some time. Been on my journey for four years. Wanting to lose weight at a moderate pace so I can learn on the way. I had been stagnant for a little over a year after losing 80, then I lost focus and motivation and gained 30 back. Now I have 45 to get to my goal. Always looking for…
  • Seeing all these great before and afters is inspiring! I'd like to wait until I hit my goal before I post pics. I can't wait until that moment and join all of your wonderful souls. Great job and best of luck with journeys and maintenance!

  • I hear ya! Fresh starts aren't a new concept with this chick. I'm in the same boat right now. Feel free to add me.
  • I'm cool with it if you add me. Lots of luck!
  • I recommend Pinterest. Lol. I mean, your best bet with foods will be lean meats and veggies and some fruits. Then toss in some other forms of protein(nuts, beans, eggs...). A meal plan for the week might be the best place to start. For example: if you have 4 meals that contain chicken, cook up enough chicken at once for…
  • It's amazing how vicious people can become with other people. We're all wanting to lose weight, rid the fat, gain some muscle...what have you. I agree with "agree to disagree". Not everything works for everybody. Even if your beginning is water weight loss. Isn't it like that for most? I think the real definition of "it…
  • Feel free to add me. I've been struggling to lose the rest of my weight. I still have over thirty to get to goal, but I've gained ten back, and I need the motivation too!
  • What about cinnamon, cayenne, and other metabolism boosters?
  • I like to do intervals. When I first started losing weight, that seemed to help shed weight at a good pace. I made a playlist of rock/metal songs that were different speeds. The faster ones, I jogged. The slower ones, I walked. It also helped tighten my middle.
  • Add me, it's cool.
  • I find that looking at the big picture is not the way to go. It's much easier to feel confident about about losing five pounds, as apposed to twenty five pounds. In the beginning I discovered that using anything food related as a reward was not the way to go. So I decided on something that's not for everyone. Something…
  • Thanks! I think most of my problem is that I just got comfortable being at a weight that I haven't seen since high school. I've been over weight my entire life. But I have no sob stories. I wasn't teased by other kids. I never felt bad about myself in that respect. The only part of me that I might put down is my arms. I…
  • Hi there! I'm Debra, 36, Missouri, though born and raised in central and north western Kansas. I've lost nearly 80 lbs. I'm always looking for motivation and ideas from others. Add me if you like!
  • Huge fan of Quest bars! Especially the chocolate chip cookie dough
  • Love the positive attitude. I'm a firm believer in the idea that your head is where it starts. If your head isn't in the game, the rest of the body isn't either. Great job and getting back to it!
  • Hi Abbie. I live in Missouri in the US. I've been looking for new friends too. I have lost 75 lbs do far during my weight loss journey. I want to motivate others, as it motivated myself.
  • I have a few goal dates. I want to be at a specific weight by the day before my September vacation(about 20 lbs) and another specific weight by Thanksgiving (about 37 lbs)
  • Born a Kansan, but live just east of KC, MO
