1200 was recommended my MFP to lose 2lbs a week. I am 5’5 and my day usually consist of working from home and maybe doing a few errands which I consider is sedentary My weight loss started slowing down 3 weeks ago. I was weighing myself every Saturday and one Saturday I didn’t lose anything. Then the next week I lost 1.5…

I asked a similar question a few weeks. From my experience, change your goal from 2 lbs to 1.5lbs and add 200 cals to your daily goal

A lot of people say you should eat them back, but what’s the purpose of burning the calories if your going to eat them back?!

It will be 2 weeks on tomorrow(Wednesday) since I started. I’m down 4lbs. Usually when I start cleaning up my diet I’ll lose 5lbs the first week. I know the difference is because I am not active like I usually am. So it’s kind of discouraging not losing the weight as quickly and still feeling hungry

The reason I try to stick to 1200 is because I’m sedentary. At the moment, I am not working and I haven’t been exercising.

I have experience with this! I was stuck between 148-150lbs for 2 months. I was so disgusted because I was eating lower then MFP suggested, working out and still not losing. I started at 170lbs in February of this year, lost 20lbs and hit my plateau. This is what I did to overcome it....... For 2 -3 weeks I ate how I…

Prior to plateau I was eating about 1000 cals and doing cardio 5 days a week 45 mins. I up my calories since then and cut my workouts down in fear that I was over doing it

I've done this! I was netting about 400 cals a day. I increased to 1200 and I gained 1-2lbs before I started losing again. I was expecting to gain more. If you want to make sure you don't gain, I suggest gradually increasing by 200 til u get to your caloric goal

everyday, trying to reduce to once a week but its hard

I'm taking this personal. I am one of those people that post about eating under 1000 calories and not being hungry. I've now increased to 1200, but when I was eating low 800-1000, I honestly was satisfied. I wasn't full, but I wasn't hungry either. I spaced out my meals, eating lots of low calorie fruits and veggies and I…
