I did WW and Lost 70 pounds gained 40 pounds back with pregnacy. I like MFP because it's free. You can't bet that.

I workout in the mornings. I won't do it if it's not right after breakfast. I'm just really weird like that. But calories are calories it doesn't matter when you workout as long as your moving. Good luck to you.
