  • I don't see the need of making things so complicated. A good balance will take you far and will make it easier to do groceries and cook in the future. If you have logged your food you should be able to see if you're missing something or if you're getting crazy amounts of something. Like many have said, and I say it too...…
  • It looks delicious! and yes, bacon please :-)
  • Much better! :-P
  • Yea I'm sure the 200-300 calorie patty is what makes this bad :-P The fries are included in the 1690 calories :-)
  • A comedian that makes fun of something stupid, how shocking!

  • I come from Sweden, I've lived here in Miami for almost 2 years now. I can definitely see the difference in everyday activities. I can't of course speak for everywhere or everyone but from what I've seen where I live it's quite major. Anyone who has been to Sweden (and of course some other European countries) would know…
  • Pizza huts fit and delicious have around 150 to 180 calories per slice and are pretty low on other things as well
  • Like Alohabrie said, thin crust + chicken would probably be the best choice
  • I just started doing laps in the pool and it feels awesome :-) I also do some other activities in the pool like sprinting and treading water
  • Well I think it's important to see this as something permanent, a lifestyle change and not think too much about how many pounds you want to lose. Of course you may want a goal to get some motivation but try and pick out things in your life that you WANT to change. If you aren't very active, try and find something active…
  • Yep! :-) I noticed this as well when I used to play hockey, soccer and run a few years back. When hockey season was over, I would run and play soccer to keep myself fit for the coming season... Once the winter came... Getting back on the ice made me tired after only a few minutes! hehe
  • That's exactly my point, the problem isn't lack of knowledge. We can't say we didn't know it is bad for us, if we do know. People know smoking is bad for them, but they still smoke. We have put up tons of smoke free zones, yet... People smoke. I'm not bashing anyone but I don't think the problem is with us not knowing bad…
  • I started swimming instead of running but don't get me wrong, I love running... It's awesome :-) I used to run all the time but it's sometimes nice to change things around so I am swimming instead. Good luck with your run and goal to 5k! It will feel awesome :-)
  • That's a good practice though :-) It's like when a dog does something good he gets a treat!
  • Exactly. I am pretty sure that the majority of the world can tell you that excess amounts of sugar is not good for you. Most people who have problems with sugar knows it's bad for them, they just have a hard time using it in moderation. I've never heard anyone say "This chocolate cake is healthy for me, my body needs it"…
  • Like Amyrc12 said, you might want to check your pronation and get a shoe that fits for you. It could be that your step puts a lot of stress on your ankles and that's why they burn. Here's some info http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-240-319-327-7727-0,00.html
  • I've done it in my blender, it's not as simple but I just take a pin and push down the big stuff until it blends properly. :-) Mine is a $10 blender.
  • For those who use Endomondo, make sure it says "GPS OK" before you start it. If it don't, then it will start the timer but act as if you're standing still. It's a very useful app for exercising :-)
  • Congrats baby :-) That's great! Don't forget to keep setting goals to reach so you always have something to aim for! I'm happy for you.
  • Measure the area's where you want to lose fat at. For example, if you are skinny at the ribs but have a pouting belly, you would want to measure your belly. Measure where you have the most fat. Measure different points... Say you want to measure the belly, you could measure 3 points; Just above the belly where your ribs…
  • I'm in as well! You're all welcome to add me as friend :)
  • I used to go crazy with dairy... I would drink about half a gallon of milk per day. For breakfast I'd have one of those big 34 oz packs of yogurt. I just tried to cut it down a little at a time, and so far it's going well. I don't think I will be dairy free though, but we will see :) Good luck though!
  • I would definitely feel more motivated in a class with an instructor and other people. They help push yourself to your limits... It's easy to start slacking off when you're doing it home and nobody can see you. If your self-control is very strong on the other hand and you know you will go through the whole thing and do it…
  • My girlfriend and I just started but I can already tell that if you keep pushing yourself through it, don't cheat on yourself and listen to what she's telling you. You will definitely lose weight and gain valuable muscle. It will hurt, for sure... But it hurts for everyone just as much. It will be rewarding for you, I am…
