Hey, I understand exactly where you are coming from because that is what happened to me too. I lost 8 pounds my first week and than GAINED a pound back. You should be grateful that you didn't gain anything that second week. Ever since that second week, I have lost 2 to 3 pounds a week every single week. I wouldn't lose…

I just went and bought a bunch of over the counter stuff. I guess I will see how it works.

This. Plus, I don't do a cheat day at all. I do a cheat meal. The day I chose to eat an extra large meal, I plan what it will be and what I want to indulge in. I then exercise harder that day and enjoy my meal. I don't spaz out at all. I plan to eat more and count every calorie.

I always go for a great salad and a piece of protein (steak or fish) that I don't normally make at home. I allow room for a drink or dessert and craft my choices before I go to dinner so I know what I am getting. I look forward to those items and don't feel I missed out because I am already having something different as a…

I lost 3 pounds my 4th week in so I'd say it's okay. I was even dealing with TOM day week. As long as you are eating what you need calorie wise I wouldn't be concerned.

I eat plenty of healthy fat every day; however, I think it was more the fried foods that did me in. Never again my friend.

I stay away from sodium as much as I can and dive into water. This month I didn't notice a weight gain at all and I even lost 3 pounds. However, I controlled my cravings with a cheat meal earlier in the week (Wednesday) and drank water like a fish afterward so when I weighed in on Monday the following week I saw my total…

I agree with you. When we started MFP a month ago, I did find I was spending more on groceries; however, we weren't eating out anymore! There is something so satisfying about going to the check out with a cart heaping with veggies, fruits and lean proteins. I always make sure to have a low fat ice cream in there, but that…

I know where you are coming from! I totally had two meal like this. What I did was exercise more and enjoy what I was craving. Oddly enough I still made healthy choices but I had a rich dessert and pizza. You can have what your body is craving and still lose weight if you balance it with exercise and plenty of water. I…

I work with a super fit woman too and on Monday she stopped me. "How much weight have you lost? I am enjoying watching your success!" That was a good day. I hope I can get to the same place you are at. I would love to see such a huge weight loss behind me.

Oddly enough I didn't feel bad about the pina colada I had. I felt worse because I had cheese and bacon covered fries.
-
I didn't get dessert. The waitress tried really hard to try and coax me with other desserts but I didn't cave! I feel more hopeful that seeing these changes in myself will result in long term change and loss.

Thank you. I am trying to create better habits with food mentally as well as in practice.

I'm sorry for what you are going through--that is hard. Please take care of yourself though. If eating too much at once is hard, try to nibble food all day here and there. Nuts, fruits and maybe a little jerky to give your body something to work with. You don't want to be losing muscle. Take care.

I just prefer the texture.

My hubby lose that amount in the same time frame but if slowed the next week. Let your body take its course. Just keep being healthy.

You inspired me to write down what I have learned in the last 4 weeks. Do-Eat your calories! Do- Exercise and move Do- Try new recipes and spices Don't-Sweat it if you gain one week Don't-Beat yourself up for a slip up Do-Log every bite! Do- Weigh in once a week Do- Measurements Do-Embrace the message boards!

Maybe because you are at a healthy weight range for your height. Why are you trying to lose more?
-
I think my first question would be are you seeing someone to treat all these conditions? Because I would start there.

I weigh myself Monday mornings in socks. My scale stays in the same place all week (my basement concrete floor) and is an even hard surface that won't cause the scale to rock back and forth causing incorrect readings.

I have caffeine every morning (dt.coke) but I stop drinking it at 1pm. I think the amount you are having sounds fine especially since you aren't sweetening the drink at all. As for watching carbs, I don't think you should be cutting out good carbs like apples and bananas-those are great foods to keep away hunger and…

I love this thought. I had a planned ice cream every Sunday night while watching TB and I love it! I like what MyJourney1960 says about planning the treats. I do the same thing. Tonight, I want some pizza s I can going to exercise a little more and go bowling afterward. You can eat what you like is smaller amounts whenever…

After reading this post, I made my recipe with a few more veggies and decreased the serving amount and surprise! No problem. I was just using too large a serving (1/2 cup) and lowered it to 1/3 cup. I made two corn tortillas with that amount f meat, cheese and sour cream and it was under 500 calories. Not bad at all.

Hips and boobs. They grew evenly in size as I gained weight so people didn't notice as much. In fact most people don't believe me when I tell how much I do weigh because it is so evenly spread across my body.

Good for you! I am just celebrating my 4th week doing MFP and I feel amazing about that. I have 90 pounds to lose but if you can tackle 45, I know I can hit mine too. In fact, I was kind of pleased when my goals needed to be reset to reflect my weight loss. Good luck!

Even when I was at my healthy weight (at 16) I still had large breasts for my size. They seem to fit my body is a positive large busted way no matter my weight. I love being a big chested girl and I am glad you are too. As for being ripped? I don't see why the size of your boobies would effect the toned look of your…
