CICO isn't true if you have a metabolic syndrome. In the case of MS your body processes sugars and carbs totally differently than someone without MS. Probably this guy didn't have MS and so CICO works for him, but everyone's body works in a unique fashion. This case only proved it worked for him.

I haven't even begun working out. I do work retail which keeps me on my feet quite a bit though. I caught sight of myself in a full length mirror the other day and I look pretty good, but my post baby belly is very donut-y and jiggly. :-(

Oh yeah, I think it is pretty common to see this after eating well. My hubby even pointed out that we probably both felt sick all the time when we ate processed foods but now we are more aware of it.

I have two methods that help me from going overboard. 1.) I allow myself one meal a week that is whatever I want. You could save that one night for that high calorie chocolate treat you love. or 2.) I love Pilates as well. It is a great workout that focuses on the core and effects all the body through the different movements. I would relax and try it. You will be surprised at what a good workout it is.

I was on depo for years and I didn't gain a thing. Doctors warn about the munchies but my side there would be no weight gain as long as you eat healthy. You might not have been eating as well as you think.
