I'm on a mission to lose 50 lbs. I've lost 37 lbs so far since February of this year. I work out at the gym 4 times a week for half an hour on either the treadmill or elliptical. I had both of my hips replaced last year so am somewhat limited in exercising. I would like to be part of this group too. I seem to do great with…

Me! I'm up for the challenge. Let's do this!

I can see a significant weight loss. Stay with the program, it works.

I'm having the same problem. We had a barbeque on the 4th of July and I ate recklessly all day and the next. I managed to gain 4 lbs according to the scale. Ugh!

I used SlimFast for 8 months as a meal replacement for breakfast and lunch and lost a total of 70 pounds. After that I got tired of drinking my meals and went back to my old habits and regained the entire amount of weight back within a few years. It does work as a meal replacement but I personally wouldn't recommend it for…

you are AMAZING!! and look AWESOME! What an inspiration and just what I needed to start out the week.

I hear all of you....loud and clear! I'm doing the same thing myself lately. It seems what we all have in common is lots of emotional stress right now so we are emotionally eating and making the wrong choices. We have come so far and we can't give up on ourselves!!
-
I'm trying the same strategy. I was eating 1200 calories a day and have been at a plateau for about a month now. I decided to step it up and try to loose 1.5 lbs a week. I can have 1400 calories now and am going to step up my walking as well. Let's see if the scale starts to budge again. Good luck everyone.

hi Lisa, add me as your friend okey dokey pokey?

I hear you! I've been not logging in every single bite lately and the results showed up today on the scale when I did my weekly weigh in. I gained 2 lbs. Back to logging and bringing my own lunch to work. I have to get out and walk more and stop snacking so much. Let's stick together....we can do this!!

that's the great part about this life style change....we can all make bad choice once in awhile and enjoy it because as long as we get right back to watching and counting our calories the next day nothing is wrong with doing that.
-
I guess we all get discouraged at times. Especially when the scale is at a standstill. I've been counting calories since Feb. 23rd and have lost 29 lbs, but this entire month have only lost 4 lbs. I know I could be exercising more and have had days where I have way too many calories, (i try to stick with 1200), but still I…

Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter I will always consider Long Island, New York my "Home". I've lived in central Florida for the past 11 years but am truly a New Yorker at heart. :flowerforyou:

wow...what a violation. I know exactly how you feel because years ago my home was burglarized. Fortunately we weren't at home at the time. The thief entered though a small den window that was left open because of the summer heat. They removed the screen and were in. They stole thousands of dollars worth of sentimental…

Want to trade?? I live in Florida and have the sandy beaches (sharks too), lakes with plenty of gators...always hot and sunny...93* today in the shade. I would gladly move to PA and welcome the cooler climate and changing seasons... I'm melting already and it's not even summer yet!!

Lonely Pilgrim, Sorry but I have to agree, this is WAY too much information for a site like this. There are plenty of sex sites out there for such information if you feel the need to post such stuff. Not that I am a prude or anything, but I don't feel your post has anything to do with losing weight. It seems smutty to me…

I thought that was great advice also....probably the best revenge is looking fantastic the next time you see your ex-boyfriend. :flowerforyou:

I with you....blew it big time this weekend. Went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner last night...it was my daughter's sweet 16th birthday. The food was fabulous...so was the cheesecake. Today was another diet day disaster because my husband and I went out to a Chinese Buffet for dinner and I ate way too much again.…

well said Montana girl....you voiced my thoughts exactly! There is no room in the medical field for callous, inconsiderate nurses, or doctors for that matter!! A good bedside manner is critical!

Today turned out to be an extremely stressful day for me at work. Being an emotional overeater, I came home from work and devoured a hamburger, hot dog, with buns of course, corn on the cob with butter, then proceeded to have ice cream and some chocolate candy. I know we all have these days from time to time but I am…

hi all, I dieted using Slim Fast for both breakfast and lunch for 7 months and lost 70 lbs. with it several years ago. The only meal I ate was dinner and maybe a small snack each day. Needless to say, I regained all of the weight back because I became bored with drinking most of my meals. I also had to have my Gallbladder…
