Very moving story, you have the right attitude which means you're in the right head space to commit to this life style change. Log everything, even if you go over, it makes you accountable. Start exercising and check in daily. You can do this and you have the backing of some wonderful people here on MFP. Can't wait to see…

My husband is always home but doesn't like salmon so the nights he has a meal which is not to my liking...I have salmon, grilled tomato, grilled asparagus, with 100g of McCain sweet potato chips and 1 tablespoon of hollandise sauce. It does mean cooking too different meals for myself and for the husband and son, but mine…

Hi I'm 5'9" here, started at 92.3 kg (203lbs), currently 81.9 (180lbs) looking to get to 170 (154 lbs) but would be happy at 72kg (158lbs) if those few kgs/lbs don't budge. I started my journey April this year, I am starting to see my curves return but am still big busted, my problem area. I'm not right active, usually…

Well worth the investment, I wear my practically 24/7, ex water areas, but it's fantastic, calculates it all for you and sync with MFP so you don't need to log exercise. Paid $119 for mine...the Aus $...

Kellyskittles hit the nail on the head, remember the old sayings, Rome wasn't built in a day or you have to walk before you can run...same with this process, it's a life style change, take it one day at a time. Don't ride yourself or your first day off because you are eating out. Review your diary once you have completed a…

Hi, I've just purchased mine on Friday and LOVE IT. You dont have to log your exercises with MFP as this downloads your calories burnt when your fitbit one wireless links/syncs to MFP. If you swim then you do need to log that exercse in MFP. It also monitors how many calories you burn while you SLEEP. I have a job where I…

SW 92.3kg 203lbs, CW 85.1 kg 183lbs, wanting to get between 70-75kg around 154- 165lbs. Got to 77kg about 7 years ago and was in a size 12 (Aus) which I was happy with but that was using…

Thanks for sharing your story. The lessons we all learn are how easy it is to fall back into old bad habits. You know know what works, what doesn't. You certainly are not alone and that's why I love MFP. It's opened my eyes to how bad I let myself go. Like you, I'm an emotional eater and I had to get to that place where my…
