1. Have my blood sugar return to normal. 2. To not have constant pain from arthritis in my back and knees. 3. To loose my jowls and neck fat. 4. To wear a nice sweater or blouse that doesn't cover my hips to hide my stomach. 5. Take walks with my husband and border collies again. I miss that.

I have osteoarthritis in both knees so I do a 30 minute brisk walk during my lunch hour every day. I'm fortunate because we have the PATH system here in downtown Toronto, so I can walk for miles underground if the weather is too ugly. Friday night is our "junk food " night. Usually burgers or ballpark hotdogs. I allow 1 night a week to relax the rules, but I still record in my diary.

Should we also take into account that muscle weighs more than fat? If someone is working out they may lose the inches, but plateau due to muscle gain. I wouldn't eat back my calories earned because it is counter productive.

Add me. I joined in the spring because I looked at pictures of myself at a wedding I had attended and was shocked to see how unhealthy and old I looked. I spoke with my GP about this, and he said you have to keep to your daily calorie count, and consume your food in the 8 hour period. It works for me because I eat lunch at 12 noon, snack at 3, dinner at 6, and snack at 8 pm. I also take PGX if I get too hungry in the morning.
