What Can't You Wait For? :-D

I am down 32 lbs…. I plan to lose 40 more. I am really beginning to feel that I can finish this. I have found my diet and exercise groove. I take more daily steps and I stand at work more often. Finally….finally I feel my waist returning and I love that. Other things I notice is my face is getting slimmer, jowls are backing off…
This is what I CAN’T WAIT FOR:
Seeing collar bones!
Feeling stronger overall!
No more BACK FAT!
Not being the larger sister anymore!
Visiting friends I haven’t seen for a few years
Riding bikes this summer!
Wearing nicer clothing!
That day that friends at work say "WOW"!
I’m sure there’s much more….
WHAT CAN’T YOU WAIT FOR ?

I can't wait to go hiking this summer, and walk all over my hilly town; it'll be a great workout!!
I also can't weight til cookies, cake and ice cream have zero calories.3 -
BTW, congratulations for losing almost half your goal and still going strong!!!2

A game I like is finally coming out in a little over a week. I have been waiting for it for YEARS. It's occupying all my "wanting capacity" right now, and all my other wants have faded into the background and have been reduced to "that would be nice".
I know this doesn't seem related to the topic, but trust me it is. I was tempted to skip a workout today to watch videos about the game. I had to tell myself "I don't usually skip workouts, why would I start now?". Being excited about weight loss and all the things you'll be able to do feels great! Enjoy it whenever you can. But don't forget that there will be times when your attention is elsewhere, and it doesn't have to be a life shattering event. Even silly things can potentially cause you to lose focus, so remind yourself that you have to put in the work regardless of your motivation and excitement even if it's the last thing you want to do.
I don't know why I'm typing this in reply to this topic. I sound like a downer. Great job on what you've achieved so far, and wishing you many years of enjoying everything you're waiting for.5 -
Wow wasn't expecting feedback on my own accomplishments, but it feels good! Thanks everyone!

32 pounds is astonishing! Great job! You absolutely CAN do this!
Some things I'm looking forward to:
-Walking into any store and finding something that fits me
-Putting a tray table down all the way on a flight
-Feeling confident in photos of myself
-Feeling healthy overall!

Congrats on your weight loss.
I'm looking forward to fitting in most of my clothes again.
Hopefully dropping a few cup sizes. (Not sure if that ones doable.)
Weighing less than what's stated in my drivers license.
Being a healthy role model for my daughter.1 -
Great thread @MrsDogLady
I can't wait to:
not be always the fattest person in the room
have someone tell me I look nice aside from my husband and sons
reducing the pain from my plantar fasciitis (foot inflammation) because there's less pressure on it when I'm no longer overweight
choosing clothes because I like them not because I fit into them
seeing my jawline again
and most of all
I can't wait to wake up in the morning springing with energy. It is years since I felt that.

1. Get that feeling that "I've got this" once I see some results
2. Not have a pregnant looking gut
3. Skinny arms
4. Wear literally any clothing I want
5. Fit back into some of my favorite summer stuff and feel amazing in it
6. Be the hot single mom that I was always meant to be instead of the tired flabby one LOL
7. Have people say "WOW she's a smokeshow" behind my back
to name a few hehe2 -
Congrats on you weight loss so far!
I can't wait for maintenance. I am just a few lbs away but let me tell you these last 10 lbs have been the hardest for me. The first 90 were a piece of cake. Maybe that's it, I need CAKE!2 -
Every time I bend over the waist on my pants rolls down.... I can't wait until that STOPs happening!2

Being comfortable doing 'most anything. Extra weight makes most things less comfortable.
Sweating less.
Being able to run farther and a bit faster.
Fitting comfortably on a plane. I fit, but just barely. Not comfy.

Congrats on the loss of 32 lbs. Awesome accomplishment!
Things I look forward to:
1. The waistline I had in my profile picture (2012)
2. No more back titties (those little rolls of back fat that need their own bra)
3. Reduction in Sciatic and Plantar Fasciitis pain
4. For my husband to look at me and actually see me.
5. I agree with shaf238 - saying goodbye to my worries about covid-19

I wish Can't buy VR sets here. For some reason, resigning to the fact that you are not able to get something is easier than knowing you will get it, but you have to wait. You'll laugh, but the game I'm talking about is Animal Crossing.0 -

1. Have my blood sugar return to normal.
2. To not have constant pain from arthritis in my back and knees.
3. To loose my jowls and neck fat.
4. To wear a nice sweater or blouse that doesn't cover my hips to hide my stomach.
5. Take walks with my husband and border collies again. I miss that.
2 -
Wearing jeans. I haven't worn jeans since 2014 and I refuse to buy larger ones.
I am in a long distance relationship. I made a video of me having a shower. After watching the video, I deleted it, unsent. One day I'll send her a video.
Not feeling a failure while trying to go off sugar.3 -
1. Being able to get out of bed without pushing myself up with my arms.
2. My arms not resting on my fat sides when they are at rest.
3. Clipping/painting my toenails with less effort.
4. Seeing myself as an adult who is not overweight...I've never seen her but I'm pretty sure she's 🔥!!3
