  • I know im pretty late to this party but Im definitely on board, finding this thread really useful as a resource. Tried Keto a couple of times but didnt loose anything as I "accidentally" ate way too much cheese. Its my favourite way of eating though so Im on it now and counting and recording everything. My Food diary is…
  • I hate it in any shape or form - I hate sweating, I hate feeling so tired, I hate feeling like my lungs are going to burst, I hate the aching for days after. This was me!!! then I found something i actually enjoy and I can do it outside or in, keep trying things, you may find something you can tolerate or better yet, enjoy!
  • I am also a "hungry person" or so I thought, until I realised that the less carbs I ate the less I felt hungry the next day. Don't get me wrong I still eat carbs, just in much lower quantities and try to avoid them in the evening or I wake up ravenous.. Snack on fruit and raw veggies, low calorie, fills you up and a great…
  • I work out in the evening once my little man is in bed, granted my house is slightly less tidy but I've prioritised, lol. I bought a cheap exercise bike and knock out an hour most nights whilst watching TV, I'm seeing great results and I've found it fits in pretty easily round my life :)
  • Me too add me :)
  • I think whether the scales are right or wrong is irrelevant, they have given you the drive to do something, the first time I weighed myself and realised what had happened to my body gradually over time was the biggest kick to do something about it. And when im tired or hungry and want to give up I think about that and it…
  • me too, its always in my head Gillian shouting at me, "ive got 250lb people who can do this, so can you" and "if your not being sick or dead keep going"

  • I found the hardest thing was making the actually decision to start, I was also a diet starts tomorrow type of girl. Then i went through a period of only logging what I should have eaten, not what I actually ate. Untill one day it hit me, no-one can do this for me, the answer is to eat less and better. I still fit yummies…
  • I find sugar free jelly helps me, very few calories, its yummy and you feel like you have eaten something. Worth a try. Im also on 1200 and my eating habits are not great, I tend to eat nothing all day except a few rice cakes and fruit and then have a proper dinner. I do find tho if i eat carbs at night or have a big…

  • I have just realised that I am an emotional eater!! and had never realised it, I can see myself in everything you are all saying, recently ive taken up craft projects and find that helps me stop eating (sewing, ragging, anything that keeps my hands and mind busy) and believe it or not looking at pictures of food and…
  • I also think my Ideal weight sounds too low, im just going to keep going until Im happy with myself, Ive gone from 160 to 145 im 5, 2" and my ideal is (i think) somewhere between 100 and 110, I WOULD LOOK LIKE A STICK!! Im ignoring it, I will just stop when im happy. Your doing really well and as a lot of others are saying…
  • Wow thats amazing and you look fantastic You have really inspired me to keep going, 11lbs down minimum of 27 to go! Thank you
  • I weigh in on a tuesday evening and update my ticker straight away :-)
  • I quite often do that, helps me to plan my meals and then I can forget all about food for the day. If i dont plan ahead I seem to spend all day planning meals in my head and therefore spend the whole day thinking about food which leads, quite often, to naughty behaviour, I think we just need to do what works for us.
