  • I've struggled with binging for years and other assorted types of disorder eating habits. Stop weighing yourself. Stop the obsession. Work on being happy now and start making daily mindful changes. Try not to restrict so much as think "what can I add" for example more foods that will satiate you longer. I find trying to…
  • For some reason cut my post short?? Where was I- Can't sleep - this may not be a good thing. I am planning to continue this lifestyle. I feel fantastic and satiated. I eat at hunger but I'm frequently filled up quickly . Urges to binge = gone
  • I am OBSESSED!! ❤️ Good for you . I have been discovering keto over the last two weeks and this is the FIRST time I've EVER been able to follow a "diet" with a previous history of ED. I'm now starting to believe (after checking my blood glucose several times) that perhaps the blood glucose roller coaster came BEFORE the ED…
  • Terrific job. You are so gorgeous!
  • I find this so sad for you. It's a tremendous success losing the weight you have. But it's true that until you learn to be happy within your current body - it won't matter what size you are. In our head - "I'll never be good enough". Taking your focus off of what you may look like or want to look and instead trying to find…
  • I should add it's not something you should go through alone. I did for so many years and it really helped once I got talking about it
  • Hey feel free to add me . I have a long standing history with exercise bulimia and bed. Mostly recovered but relapse is always possible. I've learnt alot about myself on my "journey". I highly recommend "Intuitive eating" written by Evelyn tribole it was a game changer. Shoot me a message if you need a ear. Sometimes…
  • Plan a treat! Heck make it huge, rich, delicious... everything you could imagine...just make it planned (like the day before) and adjust your calories. If it's not planned well in advance you might feel too spur of moment and not be able to say no... therefore just setting yourself up to fail. Friday plan Saturday's treat…
  • Some sort of banana chocolate ....I had the most INCREDIBLE muffin a few weeks back. It was a banana chocolate chip peanut butter muffin ... gluten free for those who care. It was like cake muffin heaven.
  • My baby was gassy to anything I ate with dairy...its not a natural substance for a human baby. I eat much much more and aim for only .5lb loss / I don't really worry at this point too much as long as weight is slowly lowering (3.5 month pp). I eat to maintenance plus ALL exercise calories and allow bf to create deficit. I…
  • congratulations on your achievements! binging is SOOOO frustrating - and such a compulsive thing. I've always said if I just didn't binge I'd be in super shape. now that my binges are less it sure is becoming a closer reality!!
  • I also agree I tend to want to binge or overeat when I'm tired....it's helps being able to name it as "tired"
  • That's a interesting way to look at it ...I completely agree. We will never win a battle against our biological drivers or even against ourselves emotionally is challenging!
  • Absolutely! I've had rides burning 600 Cals.. . awesome to know my favorite thing can keep me in shape
  • Update: the calorie burn between the polar watch and Fitbit were off by about 30 calories with the Fitbit being the higher of the two. Total burn was about 450 by Fitbit and 420 or so by polar watch for an hour.
  • I listened to this great podcast the other day that said "never skip practice. ....look at every temptation as an opportunity to practice your skills... you are not missing out because these foods arn't part of the path you are taking to reach YOUR goals.. ."
  • I'm currently eating around 3000cals a day and it still doesn't seem enough either! My Fitbit somedays says my tdee is 3200 (this includes my exercise) . I have trouble eating this much without being unhealthy
  • Lol!I had a good laugh at that. I'll keep everyone posted though it's looking like I might not be able to do it till Friday . But stay tuned!
  • Thanks! I school dressage 5/6 days a week on a 17hh big mover. Some days I get off so red in the face, sweating and out of breathe. I know it's great exercise - to those who think otherwise! No plodding around here
  • Ok so for anyone who is following - I've been able to dig out my polar f11 heart rate monitor + watch. It DOES NOT count steps. Tomorrow I'll match the two devices and see how they do against one another. I ran 10k this morning and they were different by about 30 Cals total in the end.
  • Thanks. I figured out how to do this.... however my heart rate shows much higher when I'm riding... Like I sweat when I ride. So when I manually log it my avg HR for the hour is 99 but apparently with monitor it's actually avg 119 , getting up to as high as 160 at parts. So I'm thinking it should be more accurate to just…
  • Thanks for input. It's definitely a great workout ... I am often out of breath, sore and red faced. I've been riding my entire life competitively and work hard... exhausted after some rides. Just wasn't sure about the accuracy of the watch due to the step thing. Thanks
  • I LOVE PRUNES!! So yummy. They are like healthy candy... But watch out a few too many and you'll be panicking to get to the loo! They work EVERY time
  • I would also like to add that once I told myself I could eat ANYTHING and AS MUCH of something as I wanted on the condition I am not allowed to feel guilty and had to enjoy it...I eventually - didn't want it anymore. I totally went nuts...and as a rule kept restocking whatever it is I'm gorging on...well let me tell you -…
  • Hey!! I have had issues as a exercise bulimic - to binge eating severely (I'm talking uncontrollable 4000-5000cals)... now my binges aren't what they use to be but I have come A LONG WAY. It's a journey. The biggest and hardest part is eliminating the negative talk in your head and eliminating "no". Once foods become off…
  • In addition to OP - I'm 3 months PP. I am looking to lose roughly 35-40lbs ( this includes 20lb gain prior to pregnancy). I am confused with how many calories a day I should be aiming to hit.... I'm ebf/pumping and some days I'm cleaning all day/ go on a 10k walk + ride my horse + barn chores....and some days I…

  • I'm in! Please add me.just got fitbit for Xmas.
  • I would just like to comment...that in terms of your teeth...water is WAAAAAAAYYYY better. I'm a hygienist and people who are sipping even sugar free bevvies all day are certainly more prone to decay and acid erosin due to the actual acidity of their beverages (which most diet drinks are). Just my two cents. I LOVE coffee.…
