For me, getting the macros right is important, because I want to make sure to feed my body the right things. The tip that I can give you is to "try out" your macros the night before, test out a few things, then add and remove here and there to reach your macros as close as possible.

Log your food. You don't need to have 3 meals a day. If you know you're gonna have a huge lunch, just save your calories for that one meal. And adjust your calorie goal for maintenance level during that time. Swimming is nice in the summer, keeps you cool.

I figured. You'll get better answers there. In the general boards it's like trying to have a conversation and having your nephew screaming "CALORIES IN CALORIES OUT" "JUST EAT EVERYTHING" "CARBS ARE GOOD" in a repetitive loop. It gets old fast.

@nogreenthumb I just remembered! Checking your tongue can tell you if you're dehydrated. I don't remember the symptoms, google it. But, my mom told me "show me your tongue, you're dehydrated" and when I arrived at the ER, surprisingly they agreed. So they put me on an IV to replenish fluids and I didn't pee until the end…
