Man, I misread the Title and thought this was "Do Sit Ups At Work". I was going to say go for it, lol. But planking at work might be better.

This thread's been dead over a year. Wondering why it was reopened when the argument within is still debated on a daily basis in these forums?

Thank you for explaining the foods I hadn't heard of, Google pics shows me tortilla looking things and flatbread. To be frank: This looks like an old fashioned bread prison sentence meal plan. Ridiculous food plan with little nutrition. You will lose weight but my prediction has shortened up from two weeks to one week.…

I predict burnout within 2 weeks. I don't know what Paratha or a Roti are, but I'd die of sorrow if dinner every night was tea...and nothing but tea.

Not Catholic and we don't celebrate Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras in my area. But I fit pancakes in every weekend and feel I can do that today in a show of solidarity with y'all.

A super bowl? Was it full of cheesy dip? If so, nom! :D Just kidding. We don't do much football at my house but (my annual tradition) I pulled the game up on my laptop and watched it while doing some (cosplay) online shopping. We did have chicken wings and chips and dips and macaroni salad; it was all delightful but I…

Oh hey I remember you. How did the restaurant date go with the hubby? Not as demotivating as feared, I hope? Sometimes we do too much to quickly and injury occurs. It happened to my knee a couple years ago, I still have issues with it most mornings. But do whatever your doc tells you, eat to your goal (not hundreds of…

When we get a bucket of KFC I always ask for half to be grilled. I also request one of the sides to be vegetable. Delicious without being too indulgent. Good on you for sticking to your plan! My making different requests similar to others' choices, but not the same, is my method of working around temptation.

For some reason we (in general) feel like suffering is necessary to discipline. The degree of suffering is blown way out of proportion. Being in it for the long haul means some days will be harder than others, but if you are doing it right you should never feel like a starving Charles Dickens character. You can eat…

I became a monster. BC was my leash on my hormones, since I've been off I am quicker to cry or lose my temper, hungry and don't care about the consequences, and low energy. However. Everyone is different --there are pages of threads on this website of people regretting using the same hormonal BC that gave me balance. They…

You walked a lot, do your muscles ache? Water weight packs on while your muscles repair themselves. As for Ama3387, the extra food in your gut and sodium retaining water will flush in a day or two. Both of you just need to drink plenty of hydrating water and give it a day or two.

I work those hours. Under desk cycle has helped. Pre measuring and logging helps. I drink a lot of water during the day, jumping jacks in front of the printer while waiting for my paper stack to spit out, squats and calf raises by the microwave while my lunch is rotating. Look for something every hour that can take a…

Thrive was tried by a bunch of my coworkers. None of them are on it anymore, and one had very violent and embarrassing reactions at work.

He already explained when they were married she was fun and driven, now she's become someone different. It's not just the out of shape-ness, that's just the part he's latched on as something that Can be fixed.

Waiting for the "It made losing 200 pounds easy, I just had to kick him to the curb" jokes.

This is exactly what I was going to suggest.

How tall are you, what is your current daily goal, and how close do you get to goal?

Hahaha I love all the Arrested Development in this thread

As an Irish-Scottish-French-Scandinavian-Portuguese-American with some other mix in there, I am confused as to what alcohol I should be drinking. I must be intolerant to most of them because when I drink too much my body rejects it. Eh I'll stick with rum.

Eventually your body will need to decide to fuel either your heart or your hair, your kidneys or your fingernails, the muscles you actively use or your skin. There won't be enough fuel to keep everything up. It's like a budgetary shortage, people who don't have sufficient income need to decide which bills to pay.

Age, height, current weight?

Honestly, so many changes at once make success a little less likely. I've lost 11 pounds since January 1st and my focus hasn't been obsessive clean foods, it's little choices daily. Weighing my food, using a desk cycle when sitting, and aiming for a caloric goal (above 1300 below 1600, weekly average around 1500) have been…

Gevalia coffee with one sweetener packet and a bit of vanilla. Took me a while to perfect the taste. It's heaven. At work we have Folgers. I've reduced to a single creamer (pre measured) and one Splenda when I drink a mug at work.

Surely someone who worked out for 2 hours can fit a slice of pie into their day?
-
Check it in a week or two if you want. But I'd break out the measuring tape and start a record of that too.

Fiber One oats and chocolate bars are awesome.

I was way overestimating. To the point my 1500 cals/day might have actually been 1250-1300. My scale arrived yesterday and I am loving it.
