Yay thread resurrection  My DH and I went to the movies as a first "date" but we went out to lunch a few days later. I choked on broccoli; he almost had to do the Heimlich but I hit myself on the table and dislodged it myself. It was painful and ridiculous but he still married me. Don't order the broccoli...if you…

I think this is about the weightlifting cut and bulk cycle; it sounds like my brother, lol. Fwiw the body he has after a few years of hard work is really amazing.

More fascinating than frustrating, for me.

Yeah, they'd have to be very tiny; and due to the perkiness of the paws I am pretty sure they'd slip off anyway. The one is bigger because he's a Pom mix, but his feet are pure skinny chi feet. I'll share my exercise buddies real fast... Just kidding. They actually run around with us too; one even did a trail race with me…

This is amazing and I will need to look into some on American Amazon. I have yet to find booties that stay on my chihuahuas' tiny feet.

Female right? Water weight goes up and down with our cycles (not to mention sodium, dehydration levels, and weight from BMs). You can track daily but don't put a firm need on the day to day weigh in. Look at the overall trend.

If you are eating an extra deficit every day it sounds like you have plenty of calories saved up for your restaurant date with the husband that's coming up (from your other thread).

Your gyno does know there are drugs that will take away your period, right? I didn't have one for years... Beyond that. How accurate is your logging? Every bite weighed and measured? I personally would hold off on extreme cardio if I were in the grip of endometriosis pain, but others say it helps them.

The only dances here are high school and old folks' home, lol. My husband and I have danced once ever and that was at a wedding. Not our wedding, my brother's. We don't got skillz.

I'm feeling lucky. My DH is very happy I am doing this again, he's been nagging at me for awhile that he was worried about my backwards slide. It does drive him nuts that I make him write down everything he adds when cooking so I can make a recipe, but he freely admits that's because he's naturally lazy. He's getting in…

I wish but the forest service blocks them as soon as it snows and won't move the gates until after it melts. Probably longer as the trails will be thick mud for a while.

My dogs are more than happy to help me. In fact, they will gladly make food disappear, just to ensure I'm not tempted to overeat. They also love walks but unfortunately there's salt all over the place so we can only lap the yard and go for drives to change the scenery. Can't wait for spring.

Okay with those stats you should be losing easy, if you are eating 1200 cal/day. I plugged you into a TDEE calculator and if sedentary you should be maintaining at 1743~ cals/day. How tight is your logging? How often do you weigh yourself? And do you take measurements other than scale weight?

Stats? Height, current weight, daily goal, length of weight loss stall?

I was talking about this (going to Mexico for surgeries, we live close enough to the border that lots of people here drive there for vacations) with my coworker, and she brought up the TV show Botched. I guess quite a few of the screwed up surgeries are done in Mexico and other Latin America countries. I don't think I…

Due to some events in 2013 that I feel could have been reduced if I'd been around my kids more, I feel your guilt. I'm a working mom who has tried to get the most out of our evenings and weekends together. Summers are easy because I can get a good workout on playground equipment, and bikes are good for us all. Winter is…

Many restaurants have nutritional value online. I like to research what I will eat before I go out; keeps me accountable.

Stats? Height, current weight, goals, do you use a food scale, do you work out...etc....

Mmm salty stuff gets me going the wrong direction...if you give me a pickle I will ask for chips, if you give me chips I'll ask for layered bean dip, tomorrow I wake up with an empty dip tray and equally empty bag of Lay's, wondering how I whipped up fried chicken so quickly and where the cole slaw came from. Lol! (Ok it's…

I measure inches every few weeks. It's one of my tracking methods.

Every day. Yes sometimes it's up, sometimes the same, but this way I get to see the overall trend. That's what keeps me motivated: a bad day doesn't derail everything.

There's a Greek yogurt by Yoplait with apple pie flavor that is my favorite. I also drink a diet soda most days.
-
That's a pretty aggressive goal for so little loss. Maybe change your goal to a half kg. or even set it at maintenance for a week and just get used to logging daily. Then change to a deficit.

I've noticed a girl at my gym with a textbook propped on the elliptical. I couldn't do it but she does, with occasional slowing down periods to highlight and write in the margin.
-
It's been buggy the last week or two. It reset my goal twice, I had to manually go in and fix it.

If you research local races online there will be some that have walking divisions. "Fun run" and "Donations to XX charity" also are fine for walking. My town has a huge 5K every Thanksgiving that literally has hundreds of participants from very young to quite old; dogs on leashes and strollers abound. Everyone gets a…

How long have you stalled?
-
Mine's glitches twice in the last month, bumped me up once then way down. I manually adjusted it and check every morning before logging now.
-
How long has it been? I get my tape measure out every 3-4 weeks.
