I love all the graphs! All this time I thought I was the only geek who tracked my weight daily with trendlines and averages. I also compare to calorie goal and exercise calories burned. It helps me to understand cause and effect and keep me motivated. It's a good point, it can get very discouraging if you don't weigh…

I have also hit plateaus. Even when I clearly have weight still to lose. Nothing changes as far as logging calories, there are no adjustments to be made, just a stuck scale. When this happens, the only thing that seems to work for me is to up my game. It sounds like you have a good exercise routine, one easy way to add…

No thanks. I wouldn't discourage you from trying it but I've tried this in the past. I was miserable because it was unsustainable for me. It was so bad I shunned dieting altogether to a while. Thanks for your review. I'm not crazy about the reliability I'm hearing about the fitbit. Funny you should mention the drowning, I'm looking into a wearable so I don't have to carry my phone everywhere, my fear is forgetting it's in my back pocket and it drowning in a most inopportune place. Nothing like flushing that very…

Yeah, This is sort of what I have now. It works ok as long as I always have my phone with me.

Thanks, have you had any concerns about failing or durability?

The high failure rate is concerning. I did have a fitbit when they first came out and the strap broke almost immediately.

What about distance, does it measure that?

The only thing that bothers me is the belly fat and at my age (50+) I think other than the exercise I'm already doing and the fat I'm already watching, that is the only knob left to turn.
