  • tom hijacked things for a few days after day 4, so just getting back to it today. day 5 done. Its taking way longer than I would have liked to get through a 30 day challenge. My goal for next time is to complete it faster. lol
  • Day 4 done.... anyone still here with me?
  • Holy f*&^ing #&^%$&%^$^*(#@$ just did day 1 of level 3... I'm not entirely sure what just happened... lol.
  • Level 2 results are in. Not as great as I was hoping for but then it did take me 25 days to complete lv 1 and another 24 days for lv2. ____________Beginning__________After Lv. 1__________After Lv.2 _____________ June 15___________ July 10_____________Aug. 3…
  • Tomorrow is my last Level 2 session... yikes...
  • great job on the videos Sunny.
  • Day 5 done. I'm not finding my abs hurting as much from level 2 as I did from level 1. Anyone else find lv 2 less intense in a particular area?
  • I've been doing the arm workout on days when I don't do the shred and I honestly think thats whats helping me manage the planking positions in lv 2 better. I have such weak shoulders & wrists.
  • I measured after lv1 and id actually gained 1.1 lb and my chest and waist increased too. Around my belly button and hips decreased a little. Didn't bother to measure arms and legs. I'm not overly surprised, I usually gain a little before dropping. 3 days of lv 2 done. I think it's going better already. Freshly washed pants…
  • I did Level 1 Day 11 today. I was thinking to do 5 days at lv 1 after the 10 day break, but i'm tired of lv 1. Going to move onto level 2 on Saturday. I haven't really noticed any changes in my body, clothes are still fitting the same :( I need to work on better eating and actually reaching 10k steps every day. Only at…
  • OMG... just did the arm work out.... ouch times two.. once for each arm... will be doing this one again for sure... towards the end I thought I was doing great, then looked over at my arm and it was at a 45 degree angle down.. not straight out like it should have been... but I can feel the burn already
  • I haven't done 30DS in over a week now :| I want to say that the heat is causing me to not sleep properly so in the mornings i'm too tired to workout and stay in bed to actually get some sleep, or that I can't seem to drink enough water to feel hydrated enough to workout.. or that I'm too tired when I get home from work…
  • AHHHH.... yes.. you have 2 legs therefore you lose double...... wow.... almost seems gimmicky so people can say they've lost more inches and make it more impressive. I've never been in WW or Curves so maybe it makes more sense how they justify it :|
  • OMG, I'm so happy I'm not the only one who's ready to punch her :)
  • Can you explain how they do their math? I'm so confused. Well done on all the losses.
  • Just finished L1D7. I'm beginning to hate jumping jacks and the sound of Jillian "I've got 400 lb people who can do jumping jacks"..... WELL GOOD FOR THEM! I DON'T CARE, STFU AND LET ME CONCENTRATE.... yeah i get a little hostile at this point. haha. I am noticing that my arms are feeling firmer. Not when i touch them,…
  • I've only gotten to level 2 once. And I only did one day. I've never seen level 3. Lol. I'm determined to get further this time. Just finished L1D5. Found it tough, probably because TOM arrived yesterday. Something in this workout is bugging my knee, really focused on making sure my knee position was right during squats…
  • Level 1, Day 4 - Done - Feeling it in my abs today, they don't want to straighten out, want me to stay curled up. I think they're still crunching inside. haha.
  • Well done. Amazing results at only half way through level 1!
  • I could use some more active friends on mfp. I only have about 4 who are on every day. Anyone in this group can add me, I just ask that you add a note to the invite so I know you're from here :) doesn't have to be long. "30ds" is fine.
  • ^^ same here. I use the 3 lb for most of workout, but use the 5 lbs for the chest flies. Probably going to start using the 5's for the bicep curls next time, see how that goes.
  • Day 2 done. Feeling it in my arms mostly. Did the side lunges at the end with no weights and my shoulders still felt it. Lol. Such wussy upper body strength.
  • I added in measurements around chest and around bellybutton. I'm honestly not concerned about losing any inches in my neck/arms/legs. I carry majority of my weight in my core, so that is where I want to see the biggest changes. So here's where I am today, right before I did Day 1. Neck:13 in Arm: 12.5 in Chest: 43.4 in…
  • Late starter... just finished Day 1. Man I forgot how tough this workout is at the beginning. My legs are already sore from workouts over the last 3 days so even just the jump rope was a struggle.
  • I don't eat cheese, tomatoes, or cream. so finding pasta sauces is impossible. I make a Peanut Satay and use that as Pasta sauce. When i tell people they think i'm crazy, until i heat it up in lunch room at office and everyone wants to try some. Also make sandwiches in a sandwich toaster with eggs, peas & corn. Takes a bit…
  • glue them all on top of each other and make a leaning tower of pizza box supports and deliver it to your local pizza place.
  • Bad Story: After work one day, I got 1 km into what was supposed to be a 5 km run, when my stomach decided it wasn't going to hold onto lunch any more. With no bathroom in sight, I spent the next 20 minutes walking very slowly back to office, clenching as tight as possible. Having to stop every 50 paces or so to breathe…
  • In BC Canada - Pop, Sub, Firefly Growing up in Ireland - Fizzy Drinks, Buttie, and I don't really remember using either lightening bug or firefly.
  • Not true!. For me at least. My feet look better than some people I know who are non runners. Blisters & Black toenails happen when you're wearing the wrong size shoes. I've been running for 5+ years, done lots of 5km & 10km races and 2 half marathons and I've never had either.
  • i've been running on & off for about 5 years, started seriously about 2 years ago, did a 1/2 marathon last September then started slacking off, running once or twice a week. distances ranging from 3 - 6 km. I've been getting back into it the past 2 months or so and i always log my jogs. I'll send you a friend request :)
