Yes and you implied she would be thankful that she did. Most articles I read from Crohn's and colitis UK, and consultants I have talked to have given the same advice as the general public get regarding alcohol: all in moderation. The point I was making in my first two posts was that it is really a very personal thing,…

http://www.nacc.org.uk/downloads/booklets/FoodAndIBD.pdf This is a very well reputed and researched document on food and Crohn's / UC.

Whilst that's great that it worked for you, it may not be the answer, short term or long, for the OP and their Crohn's disease.
-
I'd be interested in where you are getting this information from. Most doctors don't think gluten plays a part in Crohn's disease because in most cases, it doesn't. Some foods that have been considered by doctors and consultants to ease symptoms of Crohn's disease, are foods such as white pasta, white bread, white fish.…

Sending you a FR! I tend to go quiet for ooh, maybe hours at a time..any more time away from here and I get the shakes!

I'm a student, and I love my iPad. I have a great word processing programme on it that allows me to write essays in the format required for my course. I can access all my documents on the college computers via iCloud. There are various apps for taking notes in class, I've not looked into these yet, but I plan to next year.

I think I get it.... The L and the M column, I should be aiming to get as close to zero as I can...If not, I need to eat more?
-
Thanks. Will look at it again tomorrow and then ask!

You're an amazing inspiration, well done and I'm proud to have you on my friend list!

I once fished my hamster out of a clean (ie flushed) toilet bowl. Quick rub down with a towel, an hour in the airing cupboard he was fine. Wasn't too happy with the bath I gave him after that to get rid of the toilet water smell...

THanks guys! One thing I wanted to add, as a serial scaler...yup...every day! I've noticed that since starting this, my daily weight fluctuates far less, which means I don't spend hours agonising where the 2lb water weight came from! So....all good!

Mines open so feel free to look. This week has been a bit heavy on the old alcohol I'm afraid!
-
Um. No it's not. I don't need anyone to be accountable for me, I'm adult enough to do that myself. Also, your opinion of what is a 'good' diary day might differ from mine. I have friends who choose not to have their diaries open, that's up to them and I find other ways of showing support.

I log it so I can see if I've netted under my BMR. And because I like to see it there!

Thank you  My fingers have never looked so slim!

That would be one heavy kitten....

Ha- sorry, I should have given more info! Age 37 Height 5'4" Weight 140 Yes, I went for moderate 3-5 times a week.

What is it that you think is wrong?

<<<<um. I'm a mandolin....

I don't, but my husband does and one of my MFP friends does, which is my main reason for replying as it might appear on his feed! Mel Bay does a lot of good tutor books, with CDs. You can probably search for them on amazon. Good luck with it!

Really? I know everyone's caloric burn depends upon their weight, height etc, but I only burn on average 8-9 calories per minute RUNNING!!!
-
I thought about this post when I was doing CLX burn 1 this morning and I was aware that even in a forward lunge, I have very little weight on my back knee, I tried to put weight on there to see what it was like and I could feel more pressure / strain on that back leg, that I could imagine if I was doing it like that all…

I was obviously the only person who read this thread and immediately thought 'whisky'. ☕

Mine's open, my MFP friends are all wonderful and if you aren't my MFP friend and choose to comment when I haven't asked for help or advice, then I'll probably ignore you. However, I didn't log for most of April, so effectively that was VERY private! But, it is each to their own. I could care less.

Perhaps you are putting too much weight on the back knee for the bowler's lunge? My understanding is that that leg is down for balance and most of the weight should be on your front foot. With the forward lunge, I find making sure I'm digging down into my front heel helps my back knee not to feel as though it's 'locking',…

I love ChaLean Johnson DVDs, I've done a round of TurboFire and am on my 2nd round of ChaLean extreme, they're expensive, but you get such a variety of workouts, I think they're worth it. I enjoyed 30DS and for a DVD requiring no other equipment, her banish fat, boost metabolism one is great!
-
I've done turbo fire for 12 weeks and one round of Chalene Exteme, just started the 2nd round, because I love it! Regarding form, one thing I find with Chalene is that she constantly reminds you about form, especially in ChaLean extreme, which is really good for me. I found with jillian that she sometimes only mentions…
