I remember when I learned about cardiovascular diseases during my M.Sc. course, we discussed something that may be relevant for this topic. As you do more cardio exercises you train your heart to it pumps more blood to your body. This, however, decreases the time you heart itself receives blood, the diastole. The…

Amazing transformation!

I have made PB myself and all it takes are roasted peanuts. If you mix them long enough they will turn smooth - magic!
-
"normal" PB is full of crap: preservatives, sugar, extra oil etc. All you need to make PB are roated peanuts. That is what natural PB is: roasted peanuts and salt. I think it tastes more natural and better and is healthier. You shouldn't stuff yourself with extra sugar and oil if you're eating the PB for protein

I agree. Have some snack before the meeting so you don't get hypoglycemic but don't get super full, either. If there is food, you can enjoy it then, if not, you're not starving and can have your lunch afterwards.

Actually... what we need for proper brain delevelopment is fat, not protein. So eating meat has little to do with that. The human brain does most of its growth within the first few years, while on HUMAN breast milk, which is specialized in a way to promote optimal brain growth. Cows milk is for calfs, it contains more…

If you eat dairy, there are great sources of protein that are low in calories. Greek yogurt (choose low fat), skyr (Icelandic yogurt, naturally almost fat free and very high in protein), and quark (a German dairy product, which can be bought low fat, also packed with protein). If none of this is available for you, you can…

I am looking for more "low calorie" vegan protein sources. Sadly, I found most are quite unrealistic. I mean, who's gonna eat half a kilo of mushrooms or spinach? It seems almost impossible to hit the protein goal while staying within the calorie limit unless relying on protein powder. =o/

Interested to see this again

Because sharing is caring. The companies just try to promote social interactions by giving you two serving sizes so you can share it with your beloved ones *smile*

OK... hope these work. Not a lot of space there... 172 cm ( 5' 7.7" ) and 56 - 57 kg (123lb - 125 lb) - my scale is not digital and I don't trust it to be super accurate here but from experience I can tell it's not more. front relaxed front flexed (it feels more different than it looks, haha) side relaxed side flexed leg,…

Funny, I get a similar problem. Everytime I add protein powder to a shake or a normal meal or have a more protein rich meal (like lots of beans etc), I feel sick. My stomach gets upset.. Makes it very difficult to get closer to my protein target...

Nutella and jam, sometimes topped with neutral cereal. Haven't had that in ages, though, since I don't eat Nutella anymore ^^ Also get weird looks for cheese + jam Was once asked if I was pregnant when I ordered a crepe with banana and grated cheese... didn't turn out to taste that well xoP Generally, my boyfriend says…
