You're strong and in control. Congratulations

Good choice MFP really works. Try dialing in your weight loss goals and see what it says. Most folks that follow the plan lose weight. You can see what other people are doing and eating to give you ideas Andy

Great job. For those that are interested, If the picture is cut off, it's easy to save picture onto the desktop and then view.

H Michele, Welcome to MFP and great luck on your journey. Keep us posted.

Brenvt78, Talk all you want on MFP. We're here to listen

Welcome and good luck on your journey

I agree with chanstriste. I think you may not be eating enough and your body is in starvation mode. Reset your MFP calories and eat your exercise calories. On the positive side, you'll be less hungry and might lose weight. The worst that could happen is you stay where you are. I also watch my carbs which I think helps me…

My daughter weighs 120 lbs. I better get to work! - LOL

Looks like you'll have to do the math on the sodium and potassium. The US labels on foods are in mg. I'm sure the sight was set up based on that. Don't know what the water answer is. I count everything I drink including coffee and diet soda
-
The challenge is drinking. I can control what I eat as long as I don't drink. Once I've had a drink or two. Forget about it. I have to decide before I go. If I'm going to drink, I'll probably be bad and just put it behind me and start again the next day

Congrats I used to live in Oxfordshire and travel to Oxford all the time. I miss it. I hope to get back for a visit in the next few years

I talk myself into getting up early to work out every morning by reminding myself how much better I feel about myself after I've finished. I rush to work so I can enter my exercise and calories burned. It's a bright spot in the morning

Way to go

Hi Jane, I'm sure a lot of people would disagree but for me, exercise alone doesn't cause me to loose much weight. I've cut carbs to 20g and lowered my calories to around 1600 per day. I do about 30 minutes of cardio before work. I'm loosing about 2 lbs per week.
-
I try to keep my net carbs under 20g per Atkins Induction level. I count calories and try to keep them under 1,600. I do cardio 4 or 5 days a week. I'm averaging about 2 lbs per week. I found I have to count calories and carbs to make progress
-
1.5 lbs in 2 weeks is actually not that bad. Some weeks you might have a big drop and others not. Stick it out for the long run. The exercise will make you feel and look better. If you're unhappy with your weight loss rate, you might need to cut your calories down a little. Not too much tough or you go into starvation mode…

Just posted something similar although not quit the big loss you've had. In my case, (3.2 lbs in 4 days), I've decided to stay off of the scale for a few days and hope my body catches up to the scale
-
Thanks, all good advice. Decision made; my next weigh in will be Friday morning.
-
Yep, I made up my mind to record what I eat no matter what. You are not alone. It's the hardest thing in the world to post bad food choices but like anullah said, knowing I'm going to post it regardless stops me from eating it most of the time.
-
Good luck and keep that daily diary. It makes a huge difference
-
Huge difference. Congratulations

Hi Ceela, For me, the most important part is keeping up with the diary. I record what I eat, good or bad. It's silly but lots of time I skip something not on the diet just because I don't want to suffer the shame of writing it into my diary. Send me a friend request if you want. Happy to be a diet partner

Not rat smart it "Eat Smart"

I was having the same trouble with my scale. I went on line and read a few blogs. I just bought a scale from "Rat Smart". The blogs said it was really consistent and accurate. So far it's been great. $36 at Amazon

Hi Michelle, The site really works. I find logging my food and exercise every day keeps me focused and committed. Any time I'm tempted I know I'll have to log it. That usually stops me. Adding friends and responding to topics helps too. It's all very positive and reassuring. Andy

What I love best about bloody marys is drinking anytime of the day is cool as long as you stick a piece of celery in the drink

I doubt that I have the magic formula but I have lost 33 lbs in 10 weeks. I set MFP to my BMR minus 900 calories. Of course, when I enter exercise calories, it increases the MFP number which means I eat my calories. I'm convinced that the exercise keeps me from going into starvation mode which maybe has more value than the…

Looks like you still have .4 lbs to go. Just kidding. Congrats

15 lbs in 4 weeks is awesome. Keep us posted

800 calories does not seem out of line through lunch. Have a salad and chicken breast for dinner and count today as a good day
