I started on 27th March - so about 10 weeks I think. Around 1.2lbs a week but some were more, some were less, but never over 2lbs. I'm prepared for slow. I'd rather occasionally be able to treat myself - I have a couple of glasses of wine a week and the odd biscuit/chocolate here and there. When I've restricted too much, I…

Thanks all...something I will take from this is....I need to buy more bright workout gear!!!

Glad it's inspired you! I typically net 1,200-1,400 - although a couple of times a week I net around 1,800 when I do my long runs as I just need more energy! There have been a few days over 2,000 but were totally worth it and have kept my mind on track

I had just lost focus and gained. The odd time of not logging turned into a week and bam...weight came on. I haven't really changed too much of the food I eat...more about accountability. I track everything...even days that are not great. This has kept me on track and I still eat chocolate and drink wine -albeit…

Haha. My mum bought them for me as a present a few months ago and I can just get into them now. They are USA Pro I think

I agree it's going to be tough! I'm going to do it slowly I think as I do love my cardio! I have to keep running though in case I get a place in the London Marathon next year...eeek!

Haha - thank you! I like to bring the sunshine inside :)

Thanks! I run 3 times a week, cycle once a week, spin once a week and horse-ride for an hour on a Sunday. I'll also do some bodyweight exercises - although from today I'm adding free weights to tone a tad more before my holiday in September

I use Fitness Blender when I want to do something different....Just Google it its great

I run and cycle each week. For my runs (which are only 7 miles thus far), I eat 2 hours prior but it's personal preference. I feel very unwell if I eat too close to my run - I've tried and failed. Even when I was running up to 13 miles....I was fine eating 2 hours before. However, I cannot run on empty. I am appalling if I…

I agree with the Dr.....I waited a week, felt it was fine, exercised and hurt my foot even more so was then off running for 4 weeks...probably doubling my recovery time. Best to be safe and get it checked over. In the meantime, you could focus more on your upper body/abs so you don't miss working out too much
-
Look at it this way...that's still 4lbs off in 2 weeks! And that's good going! Keep it up

3 hours of Insanity for charity. I exercise A LOT but that took me to my limit...I was so close to throwing up at the end!
-
I'm having the same issue with double counting....I've only just downloaded the app too so it seems to be a bug

I am currently undergoing my 4th round of therapy for this exact reason so I feel your pain. I have bad depression and (pre meds and therapy) huge anxiety around knowing calories in food...so much so I used to make excuses not to go out. I would say talking therapy is the best thing I've done. I too found CBT useless as it…

I'd also agree with Nike...I love their running leggings! The ones I want are £80 so I'm using them as a target purchase when I get to my goal weight

Try celeb boutique, vain train, Fabletics or Iron Candi for some funkier pieces. Some bits are a bit pricey. USA Pro have a new range too in Sports Direct...I got an amazing bra-top and Capri in bright orange!

oops - 4 cals off :p

I can burn 1,000 calories in just under 2 hours of running - but I don't do that every day! My "epic days" of a 45 min run, PT session and 20 mins on the stepper normally come in at 800. I'm 5'4" and 145lbs so it takes a lot to burn calories! I get these from my HRM rather than any online system. These still are not 100%…

I have this with home-made chilli - it's like 14 calories for the pack lol

When I get like this I take a few days off of telling myself I have to workout (stick to my schedule) and just workout if I feel like it. In those few days I just focus more on the food. More often than not my motivation comes back within about 3-4 days but if not at least I have given my tired body a break. I've lost just…

Glad I'm not alone! I was glad I managed to select healthy options from the canteen. I could have had fried food or chocolate, a giant baked potato with cheese...but I had a salad with spiced Chicken breast so that's a win.

I can totally relate. I have had depression on and off for 11 years and I thought I had beat it 18 months ago. For 18 months I have felt "normal" yet feelings have been creeping back for a couple of months and then the last 7 days have been unbearable. No pleasure in anything, so tired, no appetite in the morning then…

I ate half a large pizza yesterday, and wine...and cookies...it was delicious and today's a new day!

I'm not this year but have done the 5k and a 10k one before and they are good fun - although my 10k was in 31 degree heat! I love running the Thames - I do it as part of my commute. Up past London Eye, across Westminster Bridge and back down towards the Tower along the North Bank is my fave route
-
I second going to the Drs...and if it's a stress fracture it'll be a few weekends of no running! I had a very small one and it was 4 weeks before I was running rather than a kind of jog/walk combo! Now I'm back but doing shorter distances
-
If I need them, i'll eat them! Sometimes, I am quite satisfied with my normal calories but if I've had a mega workout (700cals plus) I NEED to eat more! I actually had to get out of bed last week to eat something as I got SOOOOO hungry I had a headache...but I'd eaten more than usual. I just let my body tell me what it…

I went to Disneyworld last year for 2 weeks and didn't put on more than about 3lbs - most of which was water. I didn't count calories, I was just conscious of what I was eating. I had healthy breakfasts 10/14 days (porridge, fruit & yogurt), then was sensible through the day i.e. just having the burger/sandwich without the…

Thanks guys. It was in London so a few hours earlier I drank loads of water and was actually OK today. I'll be within my calories which is great but not quite feeling up to a workout! Lol

Thanks all.
