Or when a client calls and you say "what can I do to you" instead of "what can I do FOR you".

That's good to know, everything I was reading was talking about NOT running from Heel to Toe.....I'm willing to give it a try since my shins started hurting throughout week 2. I'll try that tonight and see how it goes. Thanks. Edited to add in that on Week 2 my total distance is about 2.13 including cool down. :)

I'm really looking into getting a heart rate monitor because this is a reoccurring question for me as well. :) I'm on Week 3 Day 1 today after work. Keepin' my fingers crossed.

I agree with this one. I just quit a month ago. My ex husband used to get on my case about it, and it made me want to smoke even more. Try and be as compassionate as you can. I know it's hard. Good luck.

I completed W2 D1 yesterday! I'm super proud of myself. I quit smoking 2 weeks ago and I'm still getting over the flu that went around my house. I was pretty stinkin' tired on that last run. I had to push myself but I totally made it!!

1) Where you are at in your running program (i.e. Week/Day)? I just finished Week 1 Day 3 this morning. :drinker: 2) What days do you do your running? I think I'm going with Mon, Wed, and Fri. Possible deviations as needed of course. 3) Why you are doing the program? I want to be one of the cool kids.......my sister is my…

Tomorrow is W1D2, my calves are still a little sore from Day 1 but I'm totally stoked that it went well. I finally convinced my husband to start it with me  We want to do the Devil Dash (not sure if we'll be ready for that one though) and the Color Run next February. :drinker: They look like so much fun.

Ugh, you are absolutely correct! I'm raising 3 girls! :noway: and I've been fearing this because I've done the same thing and they've caught onto the "well, how many calories is in that?" They haven't taken it to the point of concern yet, but I always fear I've done the damage with my own body image rubbing off on them.…

Awesome! I just started the program this morning. I'm in.

Hi! I just made this tonight and used Turkey instead of the chicken. It's so delicous and low cal. I didn't have the mushrooms or the celery this time and it still turned out amazing. Love it!! I'm also a coffee addict and had to make the adjustment to fit my 2 cups of coffee into my daily calorie allotment. I tried the Truvia and I didn't care for it personally. I switched to Splenda and I love it now, I also found a great Sugar Free Creamer that only has 15 calories per serving (1 tbsp). It's made by coffee…

Haha, me either. But I'm telling you when I finally get to maintenance, I'm going to spoil myself with a little bit of Dark Chocolate.

Haha, Supper to me is a non existant meal. It makes me giggle that he's trying to teach our 2 year old to say Supper instead of Dinner. Supper as lunch just threw me off.
-
LOL, that one cracks me up, I was just having a discussion about that phrase. Also, in my house I say Dinner my husband says Supper. Sheesh.................Supper, silly.

There's a couple things that I've learned...... 1. It's not a race, so try not to get disappointed when the scale doesn't move as fast as you wanted it to. 2. Don't deprive yourself of the things that you really enjoy, everything in moderation. 3. Exercise (I'm still trying to get into this one) 4. Get your family on…
