Mine did the same thing when starting off doing deads, i just switched to an overhand underhand grip like a few people have suggested and eventually my forearms built up enough strength for it not to be an issue anymore.

I take a full day off once a week but i also stagger the intensity of my workouts, a very intense day is followed by a lighter day even if different muscle groups are trained. This works really well for me, trial and error is really the only way your gonna find what's best for you. Good Luck.

Everything you said is correct, but so is what i said... lifting weights is not at all necessary for you to lose weight. You can lose weight doing cardio and weights or doing just cardio or even doing just weights. You can lose weight surviving on fast food and soft drink. All thats required to lose weight is a caloric…

yeah it does, if your goal is to lose weight its completely unnecessary though. My goal is to lose fat so i lift weights. plus.. being strong is fun

Gym = an introvert's best friend, perfect excuse to avoid that social stuff and if you go at the right times you can even gym by yourself haha.

I take mine just with water, does this mean i'm getting 0 benefit or its just optimal to have it with food?
-

yeah i get this alot, especially because i like to work out late at night, i keep strange hours so its not uncommon for me to finish or even start a gym sesh around midnight. But my lack of sleep is most likely a result of screwed up sleep pattern. and woo for qld haha, but even the mornings are pretty dam hot in bris.

I go to the gym 7 days a week, I lift 5 of these days and do core and cardio work on the other two which i consider to be rest days, also play basketball two times a week so i guess that's cardio aswell. I go as hard as I can on my lifting days unless I have some small aches which feel different from muscle soreness and in…

I started last year around this time and have lost 25kg to date, I learned so much through trial and error in my first year of weight loss and now in this second year I feel so much more confident in knowing what works for me and am excited to lose another 20+ kg this year. Goodluck on hitting your goals this year everyone.

This is my favourite cardio routine, lifting weights lets me eat SO much more food and still lose weight. Have lost all my weight so far from lifting minimal to no cardio, and that's how i will lose the rest of my weight.

Hahahaha... just... thank you.

Started as a new years resolution but didn't actually start until january 21st... lost a lot of weight in 3 months without a plan just eating next to nothing and running a lot. Caved, ate all the things and put on almost all my weight i lost back on. Been back on track for a couple of months now and am going strong despite…

It sounds like she knows exactly what she's doing!! You should follow her advice immediately do not try to research anything or read into this that is a waste of time. Plus its common knowledge that shakes are more effective at building muscle then lifting weights....

I can't speak for the especially women part as most of the women I see at my gym stick to the elliptical or treadmill. But for me it's an amazing feeling knowing that what seemed impossible to lift 6 months ago now feels light, and the confidence you get knowing that something that was once physically impossible for you is…

Either, makes no difference to me... I prefer to hit my weekly calories rather then daily, this gives me some room to be more flexible with my eating.

I dream of one day going through a bulking phase.......... but for now I cut and lift 6 days a week to maintain my strength, whilst attempting to lose the many many kilograms of fat I have to lose.

Hurts a lot when you start but stick with it and soon you'll love the pain of it, and it sounds dramatic but.... it will change your life. Couldn't recommend lifting highly enough.
