  • Hi all! @Meghan509 I would be really interested in those soups! I have been doing a really thick veg soup for my fasting days which is quite filling but some other ideas would be great or I may get bored of the same one. 2.6lbs is fab too! Sounds like it is going really well for you. Last week was my first week back on 5:2…
  • @jknight001 That is fantastic info you have found! Thank you for sharing. It is a really clear explanation; v interesting :) . Hopefully things will start to shift with persistence :) yay!!! <3
  • @jknight001 I just wondered if you had considered water retention? Either due to exercise, hormones or food? Apparently if you eat something salty (like gammon) the night before you weigh it can cause you to hold water and impact on scales. I made the mistake of weighing myself once after i had been for a run but first…
  • I just decided to stop going to sw too. Worked well last year but not happening this so back to mfp. Am also doing 5:2 which worked for me in the past. 2 stone goal but will break that down into chunks I think.
  • Amazing @ckmama! Half a stone. .. whoop whoop!
  • Morning all! Hope you are all well today :) Fasting day for me today... did short 25min run when I got up with the dog and 10 minute kettlebell core routine after that. Hope that goes some way to help! Have a good day everyone! :-D
  • Thanks @Marmitegeoff that is really helpful. It never used to do that though you would get the warning message. Never mind at least there is a cheat!
  • Haha funny i just realised I aged myself, I'm 36 not 37! Thank you @jknight001 and @Meghan509 for the lovely welcome. Have been reading the fast diet book from cover to cover this time. Got to make it work! I agree am hoping will be easier now boys a little older. Hope you're having a good week. :)
  • Hi, first week back after a couple of years. Quick question, I have tried to log today's fasting day but i got a message on mfp saying it won't generate a news feed or predict future weight loss. It used to still log it tho but i can only go back to the diary page. Is it still logged ok?
  • @_nikkiwolf_ I need to get it checked by the Dr. I was quite undecided as hadnt realised what it could have been as the pain is often really mild. But a nurse said to get it checked as it sounded like a possible stress fracture. It is really hard to get out of work so I am going to go Friday on my next day off. And I'll do…
  • Bit gutted as I have injured my foot, possible stress fracture so I can't finish my challenge. Am so disappointed. I bought some new running shoes after Christmas with some gift money from sports direct and I honestly think that is what has done it. At the time I said to the member of staff that it didn't feel right on the…
  • By the way does anyone run who has Raynaud's? I sometimes feel the circulation go in my right foot while I'm running. I worry about damaging something, but I want to keep going! I know my shoes aren't too tight and was told some years ago by the doctor that I had Raynaud's. I just wondered if anyone had any suggestions or…
  • Been out of it for about a week and a half, feeling run down and like I had something coming. Really achey. So have walked but not run. Have got out the last two mornings though and am actually feeling really good! Long may it last! Got to catch up on some mileage!!
  • 01/03 1.33 02/03 1.61 04/03 2.45 06/03 1.65 22.96 to go
  • @ddmom0811 I love running with my dog, gives me double the reason to go. Only thing is it can be frustrating if he drags which is why it is good that I prefer trail running over our local hills. He can run off more freely then. Though he still sometimes can get under my feet as he can follow pretty close! Haha. 4/3 2.4…
  • Little by little I'll get there! I do short runs in the morning before work with the dog as my companion. Then hopefully a bigger one on the weekends. Eventually I'll manage 2-3 miles before work, but I need to build myself up! 1.33 miles yesterday 1.61 today Good luck everyone
  • Hi everyone, I am getting back into running after a few months off, but also having in the past never been a 'runner' as such. Determined to develop my love and ability for running and get past those 5ks eventually. Starting gradually with 30 miles in March. Looking forward to getting to see how everyone gets on
  • Hi! Is this group still active? My name is Hannah. I am 33 with two boys aged 5 and 3. My weight yo-yos all the time, tiredness and emotional eating pile on the pounds. I am currently 11 stone 5 pounds. I started off at 11 st 12 when I started recording on mfp for the second time and my heaviest weight has been 12 st 4…
