Oh yeah - I'm soooooo making this!!

I love Probars - approx 350 cal in a 3 oz chewy bar of goodness. Organic, yummy and high carbs/fat with some protein as well - I like them better than snickers personally. Also, here's another vote for the freeze dried hamburger crumbles. Yay for hiking - I'm headed out for a couple of days tomorrow!

sauteed in a little olive oil with LOTS of garlic and a handful of pine nuts - yum!

24 hour fitness - I work shift, so the convenience of being able to work out at 2am safely is necessary for me. Also, I'm a swimmer - LOVE the pool!!

I have "only" lost 0.5-1lb every week since the end of January...not much you might think - look at my ticker underneath! All those "only's" add up over time. And, as I'm losing slowly, I'm also gaining muscle (I've got a set of killer guns brewing LOL) and my shape is definitely changing. Also, no worries about saggy skin…

Hi from Everett!! There's a whole lot of us wet coasters here - lets see if we can all get healthy despite the triple shot extra whip mocha's on every corner!

@ rkerr - I had one of those episodes when I first moved to the states. I ordered chips (fries) and asked the guy behind the counter if he could put gravy on them. Oh how I love me some fries and gravy... So first of all he looks at me funny, then kind of shrugs and he hands over the plate with fries and this white gloppy…

yes it is true - the toys are a "choking hazard" LOL

Cheezies (which kick cheeto's butts to the curb and back), ketchup chips, Nanaimo bars, Coffee Crisp, Crispie Crunch and Aeros... On a slightly healthier side, cans of mixed beans... Decent tea in a restaurant...(I mean hot tea, if I meant cold tea, I'd specify it!!) Tim Hortons (which kicks Dunkin's butt to the curb and…

craisins chopped almonds chopped apple flax seed enough milk to make it slightly runny YUM!!!!! I love oatmeal - eat it almost every day!

Life without chocolate is not worth living. Enjoy!!

Porridge is most DEFINTELY not like eating white bread. It is low fat, high fiber, filling, has been shown to help lower blood cholesterol, and absolutely part of a healthy diet!! Where we run into trouble is in the high sugar 'instant' version - that's the white bread of the oatmeal family, if you will. So go ahead and…

Seeing as I'm not on a diet, I don't have cheat days. Some days I may eat more or less healthy than others, but that's part of life. Likewise, some days I'll be more or less active than others. I try to match my eating and activity as best as I can - some days more successfully than others!! For me, the weight has…

I'm shortish, and my muscles tend to be 'bunchy' - they are well defined and chunky and not long and lean. It would be very easy I think for me to bulk up some - and truth be told, I'm OK with it. I enjoy weight training and I like the look of muscle definition, chunky or not, over flab and flapping skin!

Greatjob!!

Yum!

Having gained and lost the same 40lbs more times than I can remember, I intend to stick around. (Been here since Jan 2011). Part of my "lifestyle change" (oh how I hate that expression - almost more than "weightloss journey"!) includes keeping track of everything I put in my mouth and every activity I undertake - it's the…

Oh my gosh yes! Plan your meals in advance! I even log them in advance which mentally forces me to eat what I brought with me instead of hitting the vending machines! ps - feel free to add me if y'all want.

I worked nights for years. The first thing I did was rename my meals. Instead of breakfast etc, I named them meal 1, meal 2 etc. This gets me out of the "breakfast in the morning' mentality as I always switched back to sleeping at night on my days off. I then decided that my 'day' was the period of time from when I woke up…

I mostly keep my calories at around 1500/day (which is slightly over what mfp gives me); I don't really eat back my exercise calories, unless I'm hungry for some reason. Not bored, not thirsty, not tired, but truly hungry. A big part of this process for me is learning to listen to my body, so that's the way I do it. And…

Well ya know, as I've already said one time today, fanaticism in any form drives me nuts. The 'food police' are mostly people who haven't grown up enough to realize there is more than one route to any goal. My personal belief is that we should try to eat clean as much as we can... but life without the occasional cake pop…

A well fitting speedo just puts the exclamation point at the bottom of the perfect swimmers triangle - wide shoulders, broad chest all tapering down to a tight little butt. As a former competitive water polo player, put down on the side of 'hell yeah' to speedos on men who should be wearing them!!

Bump!!

Bump!

Amen my friend, amen.

I hae lost a steady 4 lbs per month since the end of Jan. The week immediately following TOM I lose 4-5 lbs. Then the next 3 weeks I hold steady, even gaining a lb or two. Don't know why that happens; I don't change a thing up week to week; it's just the way my hormones and my body works. However, the weight IS coming off…

Bump!!

I'm firmly in the 'eat more' camp. My body is under siege (lol!) and needs that extra bit of fuel. I try to add some extra protein in - this will be the time I have a steak for dinner for example. The thing I don't do is go out to eat (hellooooo mcdonalds!) or cruise the grocery store aisles (yup, I'm pretty sure I do need…
