Let me be the first of many to ask, why no desserts or snacks??? Are you going to NEVER have a dessert or snack again? Start learning NOW how you want to eat for the rest of your life. Look at the food diaries of those who are successful on here and the majority of them/us eat desserts and snacks everyday. We just fit them…

High five to you! I still don't know what I weigh either (and don't care :-)) and my cloths are are getting looser too. Glad to know I'm not the only one! :drinker:

I have the same, but a little different advice. The same... Start simple and baby steps. Changing everything at once for some people can lead to system overload and they shut down and revert back to where they started. The different... For me, I took a walk. I didn't change anything other than on a pretty day I went for a…

Whoop! Awesome! You lived out the daydream a lot of people fantasize about! Keep the dream alive! (Sorry, couldn't resist the last part :-)).
-
For something a little different, try dipping your apple slices in PB2. Yum!

Whoop! High five followed by the happy dance!

You're doing awesome! Make room in you daily allotment for cake/treats more often and show those who criticize you it's HOW you eat not what you eat that makes us gain or lose weight. They are just trying to get in your head. Look around at the food diaries of those who are being successful and you'll see that most of…

Yep, I'm with the others. Sorry to disappoint your disappointment, but that was a meal, not a binge. :-)

Lol... How fun! I put in trampoline and got springboard/diving. :-). They need to add trampoline to the database, there's a lot out there and it's a harder workout than you think it would be.
-
That's what I would do, and have done (find the closest thing to what I'm going to eat and/or drink). Enjoy! :drinker:

Instead of being discouraged about the 10K tomorrow, embrace it! The excitement of all the people around you might be just the thing you need to get back in the spirit of things. :-) As for hobbies, I gravitate towards things with tangible results. Right now I'm working on ornaments to give to people/family at Christmas…

Hi! Don't get discouraged if you don't get many responses right now. Remember, it's the weekend, so hopefully everyone out there is moving around and staying busy. :-) Also, don't be afraid to "Friend Request" those you are drawn to as you search and read around the forums and posts. Also, don't forget about the "Groups"…

Friend request sent.

Gala apple slices dipped into PB2. Yum!

I went for a walk. Of course there were other things leading up to it (cloths not fitting, feeling cruddy, etc.), but on a pretty afternoon I went for a walk. I liked the way it made me feel, so the next day I did it again, and again... It snowballed into making me feel better, so I wanted to eat better, which made me feel…

This is pretty much everyday for me. :-) I dread "rest" days because I don't have the extra calories to use.
-
^This^ I had success with NutriSystem, but gained it all back when I had to do it on my own.
-
I'm sorry that happened to you, but you know by now unfortunately there are some not so nice people in this world. You're here looking for some sympathy (you got that from your boyfriend), but at MFP we give both, and the hard truth is you let them win by turning around and not going into the gym. Hopefully you'll get to a…

Apple slices dipped into PB2... YUM!

Hi! And welcome! I just checked before I wrote you... If you go up to "Groups" and type in "MFP Gamers" you can join that group and then find some specific people to add to your "Friends" list. I hope that helps.
-
I had success with the whole pre packaged lifestyle (NutriSystem), BUT it didn't teach me how to do it myself, Soooooooo... When I got off of it, it all came back again. Now I'm having success with MFP and feel more secure knowing these are choices I've been making and can continue to make. What I keep saying is that I…

I think you are doing great. You've had success doing that up until now, so you still will. The way I look at is... I don't expect to eat 100% healthy 100% of the time for the rest of my life so am working on balance now (not when it's time for "maintenance" (that's where I've gone wrong in the past and regained)). Sounds…

Welcome! Now just start looking around the forums/groups and friend request those you feel drawn to. It's great to have a group of people you have similar interests with in your corner. You're welcome to add me. If you do, Also look at some of those on my friends list and add them (just add a message where you found them),…

Pretty much what everyone is saying. Only do what you are planning on doing for the long haul. I had success with Nutrisystem, but when I got off it, gained everything back because it didn't teach me how to eat when I no longer had their products available.

Hi! Try searching/googling "workout music" on the Internet. I did this with "songs to jog to" and was pleasantly surprised with the results. It even gave me a website that broke the songs down into the speed you jog to (10 minute mile songs, 8 minute mile songs, etc.)
-
All of the above! Library Dvd's, you tube workouts (I love Leslie Sansone (she has all different intensity levels)), get out in the rain, etc.!
-
I second the Leslie Sansone suggestion! She's great and has all different fitness levels. You can do this! Just keep looking around the message boards to remind yourself your not alone and we're all human (at least most of us :-)) and learn that going over calories every once in awhile is okay, in fact sometimes "shocks"…
-
Hi! You're welcome to add me. Also, look at my friends list and add anyone on there (I really think you'll connect with the guys) they're all awesome! We're (for the most part) a "Fabulous over 40" group. :-)
-
Hi! Keep in mind, it is the end of the week/ beginning of the weekend :-), so the amount of people "on" the forums is going to be less. Also, you've targeted a very specific audience, so that will narrow your responses even more. I don't carb cycle because I'm trying to learn how to eat like I'm planning on eating for the…

You're doing fine! Remember... It's unrealistic to eat 100% "clean" 100% of the time or else you're going to set yourself up for many more of these "depressing" days. Look at other people's diaries (especially on weekends ;-)) and you'll get some reassurance/validation that for the most part we all try to create a balance…
