Back on track, I feel like I keep saying that. I'm weight stable-ish, but want to lose the last 10 or so. Today's food: Coffee with milk and sugar-free syrup. Fryup with a spritz of non-stick spray, a bunch of chopped mushrooms and some leftover pork tenderloin. Bowl of strawberries mashed up with zero sugar reddi-whip.…

The lip makes sipping hard but doesn't hinder chewing. I have to use straws off center and utensils carefully but otherwise it's okay. It's still fat and kinda gross and scabby now but doesn't really hurt much at all. Well, I have two of the four kids at home (the two oldest, ironically enough). She's about 80% moved in,…

Dinner is Sunday roast: pork tenderloin, baby yellow and red potatoes, carrots, Brussels sprouts and pork gravy.

After a migraine from Monday-Thursday (I worked through it Monday and Tuesday nights, called off Wednesday) I got a steroid shot and took a narcotic Wednesday night and finally got rid of it by Thursday. My miserable cold is finally mostly over too. Today we were moving our oldest from her independent living in Nashville…

I'm avoiding antibiotics. TMI but my snot/plegm is not yellow/green, and no fever so there's really no sign its bacterial, just a vicious virus. I tested for covid this weekend just in case, and that was negative.

You could easily allocate 300 calories to your midnight snack and still have 500+ calories for each of your other 2 meals. If you want sweet, 2 oreos is like 110 calories, then a cup of flavored Greek yogurt (80-100 calories) and then some berries or something. I work 1930-0800 and I generally prefer to eat all my food by…

My baseline calorie level is low enough that I don't enable negative calories, lol

Ketchup chips are a blight on Canada's honor.

I have my activity level set to active and I am linked to my fitbit. It works because it basically doesn't credit my activity until I clear 10k steps, and then conservatively.

It's funny, my husband is about 6' and 175. Normal build, little firm gut on him, just the way he's built despite plenty of cardio. All his clothes are too big for me now, in fact when we bought hockey jerseys for our local team this fall, he got a large and I got a medium and it's not tight on me. I still have a hard time…

Cabot lite cheddar cheese 5pm(after nap): legendary chocolate protein pastry…

I've been dealing with some issues, haven't been in the gym for awhile, but I have been doing some stuff like modified push-ups (at counter height) and body weight squats. They also help keep the blood pumping at work at 3 am

Right. Mine is literally all pre-prepped as well. I do not mess with cooking while I am in the trenches of my three 12-hour shifts in a row. The chicken a la king was from a previous cook, I just pulled 2 pre-portioned containers from the freezer. I cut the strawberries up and popped into portioned containers on Monday and…

For weirdness, I will time stamp (roughly) my food today: Chicken broth - 0100 Sugar-free lime jello and beef broth - 0230 Tea - 0400 Decaf coffee with milk and sugar-free syrup - 0600 Had to hit urgent care after work, so didn't get home and asleep until 1015. Up at 1730. Strawberries and a vanilla cold brew coffee shake…

Oh, I absolutely do not want to do the NP thing. I'll be 46 when I complete my bachelor's degree, and I want to be retired by 60ish (and *knock wood* we're on track for that). I don't want to spend another 2 years on my master's degree, especially since I have multiple nurse friends who have done it and it's all paper…

Sorta authentic, sorta not. I use traditional ground masala chai, sugar free salted caramel syrup, hot water and just enough fairlife milk to make it milky (about 1/6th cup for big mug up to 1/4 cup for my thermos)
-
