slice long-ways, drizzle with olive oil, season and grill. That's the only way I like it. But I think you can also sub it for any zucchini recipe.

Thanks, ladies. I guess I was wondering if there are any foundational benefits to finishing NR since I'm new to lifting. Sounds like probably not.

Don't & won't ever have this issue but: waffles made with protein powder, whipped cream & fruit. Yum.

I've lost 50lbs 3 times now (twice after kids) and have kept it off for over 10 years. 1) Eat what you like, make it somewhat balanced so you get proper nutrition (produce, fiber, protein) and log it all. I don't give it much thought or planning at all. Educate yourself about nutrition but eat what you like! 2) Find…

Vitamix for smoothies, protein shakes, soups, sauces... love it! Also, a cheap smoothie shaker cup when the Vitamix is dirty or I want to make a quick protein drink.

I used to religiously take vitamins before I stopped after breastfeeding my youngest. I have to say that I feel no different without them. I eat a pretty balanced diet and think I get everything I need from food these days.

Congrats on what you've acomplished so far! To me, it's very important to find a gym with childcare, so I can have a break to focus working out. But the most important thing is to be flexible! So I work out at the gym, at home, and outside/parks. I try to do something everyday but life happens so most of the time. I…

Thanks for the responses, very helpful to see what people are doing. Looks like I need to lift more frequently...

I love classes, way more fun than working out by myself. I'd recommend ones that have a strong strength component, like a boot class or circuit class, or my favorite, TRX.

This thread is super helpful, thanks OP. Just curious, those who have sucessfully recomped, what does your week's exercises look like? Some have shared already, thank you. Do you all just lift heavy? Other sports/cardio in the mix? How many times a week?

I guess I have a love/hate relationship with it. I kind of hate it while I'm doing it sometimes but it's a great workout! I highly recommend clip in cleats, I enjoy it a lot more with them. Going to psych myself up for a class tomorrow am :)

Think you're thinking of capsaicin. Anyway, to those who responded to me, thank you. Guess I'll look into casein and yes, I do like greek yogurt. I had forgot about it but had some today with my homemade strawberry jam. Not bad.
