Thanks, guys.

I don't know, kind of sounds like food poisening? Maybe a bad piece of chicken? I've never had a reaction like that after eating a lot of high fat foods. Hope you feel better :)

FTW. No on the vegan cheese :(

This happens to me and I think it's usually do to stress or hormones (time of month). It's normal so listen to your body. I remember when I was training for half marathons, I would go through times where I just felt like I was slogging along. It was horrible.

I did stage 1 of New Rules of Lifting for Women at home using dumbells and a resistance band for the lat pull.
-
I liked to wear 2. One higher quality under and then a stretchier one over. Less expensive and more supportive than the really high end ones.
-
I completed the first stage of NROLFW but ate what MFP gave me and ignored the nutrition part of the book.
-
this. sounds like it would work well for your style.

I don't log or eat back my exercise calories. I also don't weigh my food so I figure the extra calories will cover inaccurate logging (I do try to estimate high, though). Not perfect & not accurate but what has worked for me.

I'm a couple months in and really love it so far and have noticed a lot more strength and muscle definition developing.
-
Love them. I eat a lot of avocado & cheese sandwiches.

I like to plan too but I really wouldn't worry too much about it. The hard part is losing the weight, then when reasonable eating and exercise are habits and part of your life - it's pretty easy to maintain. That's been my experience at least. I'm not tired of logging but I take little breaks sometimes if I get super busy…

There is also New Rules of Lifting for Women & Strong Lifts 5x5. I prefer strong lifts. Congrats on your weight loss!

Oh, I thought you had one to share. Just bought a couple loaves @ Costco today. Pretty reasonable price there. I've tried lots of whole grain bread recipes to no avail so I decide just to buy it :#

I eat pretty simply (boring) but feel free to add me to see my diary. Lots of salads, sandwiches, protein shakes, soups in the winter, eggs (I'm lacto-ovo, not vegan), nuts, beans, etc...

Don't feel bad or alone! There were many poses I couldn't do when overweight and there are still many poses I can't do now that I'm not overweight. Just challenge yourself but don't compare yourself to anyone else in class. The instructor should be showing you modifications if you can't do certain poses.

I've lost about 50 lbs 10 years ago and lost it again after having 2 kids. The important things for me are staying active and continually challenging your body most days, weighing every day, eating more protein and fiber to feel full, and having treats sometimes just not ALL the time. Once these became habits and part of…

Yum, looks great, thanks for sharing!

For your first question, I'm the same way and I think it's bc produce doesn't have fat or protein so it doesn't fill you up for long. Ideas for 2d question: popcorn, protein shake, small amounts of cottage cheese/greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs, a few nuts... this is what I snack on. Fruits & veggies too - but I need more…

My fave zucchini recipes: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Zucchini-Brownies/ http://www.marthastewart.com/851241/zucchini-fritters Didn't have room for zucchini last yr, but am so happy I'm starting to get some this year. Already made the brownies twice, they're amazing!

Nope, not even DL day! This is why I need a gym partner, apparently.
-
Yup

Yum, love that idea! Thank you!

I'm also a vegetarian and get a good part, if not most, of my protein from dairy. No issues. I'm currently using a vegan protein powder but also use whey sometimes. Feel free to friend me if you want to see what I eat. Loved Daria in the 90's...

If you get looser pants, it's better if they're cropped so the teacher can see (and correct) your form. That's the main reason to wear tight clothes in yoga, to make sure form is ok (& so it doesn't fall down in inverted poses).
-
May want to up your protein.

He wasn't hitting on me, he was like in his 70's. I'll keep working on my strength and form so people won't have anything to say ;)

I went through this thread last night and was so impressed with you guys! I almost bought the shapers on Amazon. I had no idea bento was such a thing. You all have inspired me to make some fun food for my kiddos.... and myself.
-
Good for you! You look amazing and it's unbelieveable that you've lost 249lbs! So incredible, I'm sure you're an inspiration to many!

I don't know what a snatch is but I'm afraid to google it.
