-
I made it to the doors of Moria! It was a little dicey there and we lost a good pony- but onwards and upwards! 13.48 miles until the Junction of the 3 Passages

I found that a change in my habits made a big difference. I would sit on the couch and just plough through anything I could get my hands on at night. So I switched it up. First I quit buying the junk I really liked- like m&ms and doritos. And I started portioning and freezing leftovers immediately so that easy food wasn't…

Made it to Redhorn Pass! 27.49 miles until I am attacked by Wargs. :o :o

Tried it- WAY too much jumping for me. I didn't last because my knees didn't.

I weigh 187 as of this morning- and I am only losing about .8 pounds a week - so in the same time period I would have lose 6-7 pounds. If its really a lifestyle change for you- why do you care how long it takes? You have the rest of your life. My goal is to lose it while still drinking with my friends, tailgating in the…

My rule is "neck up, suck it up" So if it was a cold or pink eye I would work out- I workout at home so I don't have to worry about infecting others. In your case maybe avoid the gym? If I have fever, chills, body aches upset stomach I rest. And my period has no effect on my exercise at all. However, even with two tiny…

I listen to audiobooks during my cardio!
-
I have a bench, free weights, a treadmill, bands, mats and a couple mirrors- almost all gotten from our Facebook b/s/t site for cheap. Took me a while, but its heaven. I just wander downstairs, crank the music- sweat, cuss, stretch and use my own bathroom. :)
-
I have 2 rest days a week- one I still take the dog on a nice long walk, and the other I take totally off.

This last paragraph isn't a set thing- it's a series of habits and choices a person makes. I was the couchiest couch-potato you ever did see, and I still very much prefer to be horizontal once my obligations are done for the day- so I work out early. It's been 4 years, and I still sweat and cuss and have to psych myself up…

I earned an hour and a half at "sport" one night dancing my face off at a club. Lol!

I am not a single parent, but I do stay home with my kids and my husband works and travels a lot. I have slowly built a gym in my basement. I stalk our buy/sell/trade site for good deals on free weights, benches, a treadmill, resistance bands. It's taken me about 4 years to get it all but it was pretty affordable doing it…

Made it to Hollin Ridge! 56 miles to Redhorn Pass

Those machines are woo. I follow a fitness chick who does one of those things every couple weeks and posts the results. She said in two weeks she lost 4 pounds but gained 3 in muscle. There's just no way she gained that much muscle in such a short amount of time, especially cause she posts her food usually. Take it with a…

See, I feel the exact opposite. If I know people can see it, I am more likely to "fudge" to make it look better. When mine is closed I tend to log more honestly.
-
Never!!! I FINALLY hit all the "days after Rivendell" ones and I have 41.96 miles until Hollin Ridge.
-
I have 35.5 miles until 12 days after Rivendell! Anyone else's app acting funky? Mine was duplicating a bunch of entries today for some reason. I had to go delete a ton- it was giving me about 400 extra miles.
-
Me, too! I am on the long walk after Rivendell- I have 42.52 miles until 9 days after Rivendell.
-
Fitnessblender and HasFit are pretty much all I use.
-
I do this when I exercise- and I use the neutrogena face shield oil free. If i'm not going to be too sweaty I use it everywhere.
-
Walking is a good start. And keep doing your one squat, and move pushups to a wall. I like HasFit and FitnessBlender on YouTube, both of which have low impact or beginner workouts, and show modifications for you. When I started from zero years ago I started with BikiniBodyMommy workouts. They are short and free also!

2.55 miles yesterday- I'm 17.86 miles until 3 days after Rivendell.
-
I forded the Bruinen last night and am being carried unconscious to Rivendell. 7 miles to go.
-
Back on the third page- I almost couldn't find my fellowship!! I'm still marching along, only 10.36 miles until I Ford the Bruinen the first time.
-
5.39 miles yesterday, met Glorfindel! I have 41.14 miles to the Ford of Bruinen.
-
I'm with some of the others. There's a difference between "I'm just not feeling it" and "Should not have done that." Usually it's just me being lazy and getting it done is the right choice. But there is one very memorable run when I went from a little sore to a WHOLE lot of pain. I had to call to be picked up, and couldn't…

3.77 miles yesterday- made it to Mr. Bilbo's Trolls. 9.18 miles until I meet Glorfindel.

FitnessBlender and HASfit are my favorites.
