  • Hi Rhonda, I had to take a second look, as I have an Aunt named Rhonda who had a sleeve done too, and was wondering if it was her, but she had her's don'e awhile ago. I'm scheduled to have one done in September, so while I do not have the experience yet, I will...eventually :) Feel free to add me if you'd like. I too have…
  • I confess that a lot of the time at work, I feel smarter than most of my coworkers. This in turn leaves me feeling both smug at my superiority, and disappointed that I don't work somewhere else with smarter people. When in fact, most of them are great people, with great heads on their shoulders.
  • Congrats! You have the same goals as I, with the same height, and close to the same starting weight. You give me a great idea of what I will look like if I ever get there, and that is fabulous!
  • That's my pick as well. So over rated. Didn't like them when they came out, and still don't like them. I will change the radio when they come on. Honestly, there are few bands/artists I would say I hate. It always tends to be specific songs I hate. I listen to almost anything.
  • I know once I gave in and started eating breakfast, there was no way I could make it until lunch time without some kind of snack. My mid morning snack was usually a container of yogurt, and it seemed to be just enough to hold me till lunch. Of course, as the time got close to lunch, my stomach was growling again. In a full…
  • I would totally buy this, cause I wake up in the morning and usually by the time I get to work am awake :) But, where I work is terrible about being hot, and it's a physical job, so within an hour I am both sweating like crazy and yawning my head off. Always thought heat was the issue.
  • Started at 316 in Jan 2011, got down to 260, but fell off the wagon last christmas. Pretty sure I am back up there, scared to look. I am trying though. It's actually pretty easy when you stick to the calories :) You can do it!
  • I had a Satay Chicken Vermicelli bowl, but I have one slow cooker with Basil Feta Chicken with Olives, and another with Lentil Kale Stew. Neither were ready in time to eat, but I have lunches and dinners for the next few days.
  • 5'9 and almost 300lbs, depending on brand i am between an 18 and 24.
  • I do not have children, but would certainly use a leash if needed. To all saying that only 'lazy' parents use them...I wish the real lazy ones would! I work in a second hand store, so when many families come in, the parents have to spend a lot of time looking through the clothes. Many of them (not all by any means) just…
  • Everyone I know calls me the crazy cat lady. I even have a cat tattoo on my back, as well as paw prints on my right shoulder. Although the paw prints are actually dog prints, bu since I got my dog 2 years ago, I officially became a crazy animal lady. My Tat- My oldest boy Dax, most likely Maine Coon, or at least partly.…
  • I love Edmonton for the most part, heck, I even love the long winters (true Canuck here, prefers cold to hot). I do dislike the fact that even though our winters last about 50% of the year, people still seem to be unable to drive the way this weather dictates. I spose that's everywhere though, as I can see from the mention…
  • I have no problem with the sizes LULU carries, as there are many stores out there where their XL is a joke. My problem is the price, but that's cause I am cheap. Luckily, I work in a second hand store, so I can get LULU's cheap. I have a few in my closet that are goals. Personally, i like the athletic wear from Walmart,…
  • Going on 2 years, but the 3 before that was a long distance thing that didn't really count now that I look at it. so that puts it at almost 10 years as single. It's all good though, I've got my cats :) LOL!!!
  • My feet got a little more narrow, but the actual size has not gotten smaller. In fact, I have gone up a half to full size. You think it's hard finding size 13 men's, try finding cute size 11 women's!
  • Ok, sorry about the dreaded flash face, but I only have one full length mirror in my house and it is teeny tiny! I'm 5'9, and close to 300lbs. Fell off the wagon before Christmas and just can't seem to jump back on. Maybe posting this pic will motivate me, as i had gotten down to 265lbs. Love this suit, but I bought it…
  • Edmonton here :) Hello all my fellow Canucks!
  • Love this one!! Doesn't make me quite cry, but close to it. Concrete Angel, can't remember who by as I'm not a country fan. The Christmas Shoes naturally. Speaking of Christmas, there is another Christmas song, The Cat Carol, about a cat who dies while keeping a mouse warm out in the cold. Seriously, I am tearing up…
  • in the winter i pretty much only shave under my arms, and in the summer usually it's only up to just above the knees. it's super hard for me to shave in the shower because i have a pretty high prescription with my glasses and can't see much with them off, so i have to shave by feel. it's too much of a pain to shave out of…
  • yeah...even 1200 calories wouldn't be enough. when I started on here, i had 130lbs to lose, so less than you, and with my activity level at sedentary, to lose 2lbs a week, MFP set my calorie level at around 1900, and that was before adding in any exercise. so with what your bar says you are trying to lose total, you should…
  • my dog is crated while i am at work. luckily for me, i started training her when she was still a puppy. now, she chooses to go lay in her crate all on her own. and even wags her tail as she walks to it. i think with her, it helped that i have her crate in my bedroom. so while she is crated when i am at work, she is still…
  • well, i tried to find a picture of me at my heaviest, but i don't have any on this computer it seems. this was late last spring/early summer, after being on MFP since January. this was last Christmas, before i fell of the MFP bus (still trying to get myself back on!!! lol) still a lot more to go, hopefully Christmas this…
  • it's funny, but i have never really gotten much input into any perfumes i have worn from anyone, boyfriends included. but, the past few months i have gotten many compliments when i have used a hand sanitizer of all things. the ribbon candy hand sanitizer from bath and body works is just yummy, and i always get people…
  • my first car, a '98 Plymouth Neon. it was the best car ever, stick shift to boot. never had to plug it in in winter (and i lived in Northern Alberta at the time, so that's saying something). had great gas mileage, it was like a little tank. then someone rear-ended me, pushing me into an SUV that was in front of me. if not…
  • lasagna is always good to freeze. same with chili. i even make up a quiche and freeze half. always just portion things out before you freeze them. meatloaf, any type of pasta casserole. it's hard to cook for one.. when i was in university, i would buy a box of instant mashed potatoes (the super yummy garlic butter flavour…
  • I know an awful lot of guys that fall in the middle. Granted, I would say a few are not being totally honest with themselves, my ex included. He always swore he was bi, but I always thought he swung more towards gay than he was willing to admit, why?? I have no idea. I also know plenty of women that are in no way…
  • i love pickled eggs, but have never tried making them my self. love pickled garlic too...mmmm
  • True-ish, i actually have 3 loves sushi
  • Oh, the places I want to go...everywhere!! amywhere. Love to make the trek up to Machu Picchu with my mom, she is the one that started my love of archeaology. Would also love to go to Ireland, find a hottie with an Irish accent (I'm a sucker for an accent).
  • i am ok with most anything for guys, as long as there is moderation. i don't like heavily piierced faces, or ears for that matter.and not a huge fan of larger gauges. but who knows, neither of the guys i dated had any piercings at all, not even an ear. i have a few, my nose, my right nipple, two in each ear lobe as well as…
