Thank you so very much for the time you took to write this. I've overwhelmed myself with reading articles posts and all these different opinions, and I'm thankful you've helped clean it all up and presented it in a way that made sense to me. A little bit of context for me, in case it makes a difference. Apparently, =…

if anyone needs to get their butt in shape, it's mother nature! <3 Thank you!

@goal06082021 haha <3 I actually learned very recently, that I wasn't doing a wide enough stance for my squats, which was why it was so painful on the knees. I watched a video that explained how foot placement can be so different on people, depending on how far inward/ outward they can turn their leg, as it makes a…

@goal06082021 hahaha, I just adore you! This made me openly laugh and just feel so understood and accepted. Yes, the mini bands ( wide but very small circular bands) are the ones I always see women use around their thighs, and I mean no judgment here but it is always tiny petite women. A quick youtube search of " mini…

@goal06082021 I'm overwhelmed by how many I have now, lol. As someone who's never officially worked out or stepped into a gym, it's scary, lol. However, the bands make me feel like this is achievable. I bought myself the "mini bands". The flat thin rubber ones. I really liked those, they are perfect for simple upper…

Last day of feb! I started the month at 241, after returning to MFP Jan 19th ( 246). Today on the last day, I weighted in at 235.4. My pipe dream goal when I started the month was 235, when I just randomly threw a number out there just to make a goal. I've been hovering at this weight for 5 days now, so hoping it's the new…

I am going slighty crazy with cravings. I've had to make changes due to a dying gallbladder ( had issues with it my entire life that were misdiagnosed as GERD). Started having my first attacks with as they call an " infestation of stones" all through December/ mid January. ( They won't remove it yet until I have multiple…

I have a suggestion, go to this website http://www.dailymile.com and check it out. If you know the area you plan on walking, you can log on ahead of time and map out your planned route. It will tell you how many miles it is. Go on out and walk that route, keeping track of the time you started and the time you finished.…

Wow, you guys are awesome! This really motivated me that I can do this at home, and it takes the pressure off of me, I was thinking I wasn't going to do well without a gym and the gym equipment. Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply to this thread and helping me learn.

After reading a thread and learning about BMR, it shows on the calculator that mine is 1,752. I have decided to lower my weight loss goal to 1.5lbs a week. Although I'm hesitant, I'm hoping this is the right thing to go.

Thanks so much for the info! I do remember that protein helps make you feel fuller- for longer. I don't know why I just didn't put two and two together. I used to make sure I picked cereals that were high in fiber, and make bigger breakfasts. I should go back to doing that. I also noticed that when I would do the wii fit,…

making egg whites. Ughh! I have a sulfur allergy, so I have to avoid egg yolks. Seriously cannot make egg whites without them being extremely soggy or dry. I always dream of making nice fluffy egg whites but it's just not working out for me. Darn you carton egg whites! :)

Thanks for the tips! Keeping a food journal is probably the best possible thing for me. I was always the type to eat snacks when I was hungry and then a big supper. No breakfast/ lunch or drink water. A year and a half ago I cut out drinking all pops/ soda. ( now knowing how horrid that was). Never been the type to take…
