I think after a while logging becomes easier, once you have those recipes down! I just remind myself why I am doing this and how important keeping track is. Also I have forged some great friendships on here, so I also don't want to let them down. So now its just part of my routine :)

^ what catfive says. Only log exercises that Fitbit cant track in MFP, like cycling or weightlifting.

Meh don't worry about it....just eat when you want!

Agreed! Sugar is the best!

I find a piece of dark choc helps me. Or if I am at home I just brush my teeth, which will get rid of any of my cravings!
-
At the beginning I always logged beforehand, but now I have a much better idea of what I should eat in a day, so I'm not so organised!

I normally do a small portion of rice. And I spice my chicken with a small amount of Cajun!

The bigger the deficit the faster you lose weight but the more lean mass you may lose, slow and steady is best in my opinion! Plus if you can eat more and still lose weight, that's a bonus and you are less likely to give up!. What exercises are you planning to do out of interest?

Give it a try for a month and see if you lose weight :). Add me if you like!

Tinned pilchards in tomato sauce...cheap and very tasty ;)

Yes I noticed that as well. I go mine on Tuesday. I reckon it estimates it based on info you gave it. On a normal day it projects how much you'll have burnt based on your movements though the day. http://www.fitbit.com/user/2BKG6H Add me if you like :)

Take the bull by the horns and DO EEEET. Be the one to force the rest to ;p. Just out of interest, what is the challenge??

I have been doing press ups on my knees, then just pushing my knees further and further back. I don't think the problem for me is arm strength. I just struggle to hold my body in the position, so core strength. So atm I am working on that. I would love to be able to do full press up!

Wow that's amazing! So did u try maintain away from MFP for a while?

My boyfriend has some pretty massive calluses from both rowing and weights, and I have tried to encourage him to wear gloves for a long time. Not because I mind personally, but because they crack and become so sore and he complains about it constantly. But apparently for rowing....no one wears gloves (by gloves I means…

Patience is really the key here. It can be frustrating when its slow, but just focus on going in the right direction day by day and you will see the light at the end of the tunnel :)

I would never cut out either of those things. I'm still losing weight and in don't have this so called 'feeling like i'm dying' thing. I just eat some chocolate. And probably still daydream about it :)

I agree that increasing slowly is the way to go. I went up by 50 a week, then 100 a week for the last 200. I'm still working out what my maintenance calorie intake is. I have stuck to what MFP has told me, but after doing it for 3 weeks I will weigh myself tomorrow and see how my weight looks. Though I do expect to put on…

General weight loss will reduce the size of your calves. You cant spot reduce one area. I started with very chunky calves and now they look more normal. I did strength exercises like calf raises but it was the weightloss that thinned them out.

My money is on Amadbro!!

Increase the calorie goal for sure. It may be slightly slower but good things come to those who wait!
-
Hi, It sounds like you have a great plan! You can add me for support if you like :) ( so can anyone ).
-
Hi, I lost just under two stone and am 25. I didn't do any special diet, I just stuck to my calorie goals! Feel free to add me and look through my food diary!
-
I have also lost 26 lbs with 2 to go. Add me if you like and we can motivate each other to go that last distance!
-
I'm going to give it a few weeks so I can get back on track.
-
My mum got me 2 huge boxes of chocs despite knowing what I am doing. I opened one when relatives were around, so one got inhaled. The other I will wrap up and give to someone else!
