You look awesome! Congrats!!

Here's something to chew on. If you input the same height and weight but different ages (lets say 20 and 45) into one of those calculators, the 45 yr old burns 300 less calories daily. Over one year, this means 30 extra lbs for the 45 yr old. See how it creeps up? I don't think the same attention and knowledge is paid…

Research isometrics. I have been doing them for my legs and have noticed a big change. Just started with my abdomen a month ago and feel a change as well. Now adding the butt. Be careful, you'll be sore if you over do it. They used to be popular in the 60's.

I love this one!

Many of the above responses make great sense but I'd like to add; have you ever seen a "fat" skeleton? :noway:

Wow! This is one of the best jaw dropping stories ever! Thanks so much for sharing! Great job!!!!

OMGGGGG!!!!!! This is amazing! Loved your story. Welcome to health and a longer, happier life!! :flowerforyou: :drinker:  :blushing:  :noway:  :smokin: :drinker:

I asked my GI about dairy. He said it's not a factor as it's processed in the small intestine, not the colon.

Others have already broached the loose skin subject. You are going to tighten up a lot so don't worry. Regarding the 3 yr comment. Please view this adventure as a lifestyle change. There's no going back to the old way of eating once you meet your goal. That's what got you there in the first place. Losing slow will enable…

Wow, you look wonderful! I read and reread your story. I feel this part is very telling in emotional eating... I lost about 70 lbs in about 4 months. I felt great! I was finally comfortable with myself although I was still overweight. Since I was "comfortable" I decided to start eating "normally" again.

WoW! Nice job sista!

I stumbled across this on mfp looking for isometric exercises... http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ms-fit5.htm I do them here and there and I have noticed a slimming in one month. Isometrics can really change the shape of your body. They used to be popular in the 60's.

I've heard $100,000 yearly. I also just spoke with a co-worker whose husband's X is an exotic dancer in Ohio. She rakes in $6,000-7,000 per weekend but she puts out.
-
These are all very good suggestion and thank you! I think she was on MFP but didn't take it seriously. She lost weight but didn't stick to the lifestyle change. She went back to her previous ways of eating and not exercising as much. I will definitely let you know how it turns out but give me a few days. :)

Thanks for all the responses. I think I will just tell her kindly and hope for the best.

Oh wow, the above two posts make good sense. Ugh
-
THIS! I eat 200 or so calories less on weekdays so I can have a little fun on weekends. So far, so good.
-
Starting to think not to tell her. I don't think it was fair of her to put me in this spot in the first place. It's not my responsibility to tell her the obvious. She tends to put things on others a lot and this is just one of those things.

I eat 1300 during the week and around 2000 or so on the weekend. I'm 5'8" and 49 yrs old. I'm lightly active.

LOL! HOLY SHIZA!!

OMG you look awesome! Great job. Also, YOUR DIMPLES ARE BACK!!!! Love them!

Ha ha on the messy room! Yes, you are getting some definition there! I would also recommend abdominal isometrics. I started them less than a month ago and already feel "tightening" They are easy to do and you can do them anywhere; driving, waiting in line, laying in bed, you name it. Isometrics used to be popular in the…

YIPPEE for you! I think it's good you're losing slowly because it'll be more likely to produce lasting habits and stick. It took me one year to lose 10 lbs. I'm at goal now. I admire you for refusing the surgery and doing this the natural way. Your body will be better off as well.

GREAT JOB!!!

I am a home care nurse and YES, there are quiet "exercises" you can do! I have been doing isometrics for 6-8 months so far and I noticed a difference in only one month. I don't really follow any plan other than to do them when I am standing still performing a task. I'll tighten my leg muscles to the count of 20 or so. As…

I stopped logging a few times and gained 7 lbs each time. I have to log. Good luck! You can do this!
-
Oh now this is cute!
-
Wow! You have done a marvelous job! I agree about the carbs (breads, pasta, sweets, etc). I have to really limit them because they are addictive. I keep them out of the house. Good luck on the surgery! You look great!

BMI is pretty accurate for the masses. It won't be accurate for the muscle bound but your doc can take one look at you and tell. My sis in law is a doc and I asked her about that. Find a few bodybuilding websites for women. Usually it'll give their weights. Find someone your height and take a look. That should give you an…
