I'm paranoid I guess! I guess I just want someone to tell me it will be ok in a couple days, I worked out today as normal.

I just want to second the motivational value of an activity tracker. And the Fitbit One is what I have and I love it. It has motivated me in so many ways.

for me it's my Sweaty Band and 2 ponytail holders to put my hair up in piggies. I can't stand my hair getting all in the way of my exercise!

Be very careful, I noticed a tightness in my right calf, decided to just work through the discomfort and then boom, I felt a pop and almost hit the floor. My dr. dx a ruptured plantaris tendon, and said that it was more trouble than it was worth to repair it. So, I was off my feet for one week, started back too quickly the…

I am going to check into this, I love her videos. I'll see if I can jump in on day 5. Maybe along the way I can make up what I've missed too.

I CAN see the difference! Great job!

true, I just thought of that and didn't think it through before running my mouth. You're correct.

do you ever worry about perspiration ?
-
I carry concealed, however I do not run. I just wanted to mention that though the tank and bellyband items look nice, I would worry about the affect of my body's sweat/moisture on the metal of the gun. It wouldn't take long for it to start to rust/corrode. There has got to be a better solution, the holster developers need…

Well I went to the dr. word is that I ruptured my plantaris tendon. he said it is not necessary and not everyone even has one. I am not restricted by anything except my own pain. ice and ibuprofen. it will not re-injure because it will remain unattached. I am glad that I went and am relieved that it is nothing that…

Thank you for your reply. I usually take 'rest days' on the weekends, where I don't do cardio or circuit training, but do still walk instead of jogging.
-
Maybe I fall into that category, too. I don't expect to loose 48 more pounds over the same time frame that I have lost the first 48. I understand. I didn't see the original "lose 40 in 4 months" thread. But for me it was attainable.

me too. Except I have a fitbit and I don't use DVD's, I go to a place to workout. And if I'm unable to go, then I do something from youtube. I have eaten out whenever we wanted. I have eaten take out pizza. Last night I had some red velvet cake. I have been on two vacations this summer and still held my own. I have never…

My legs and ankles and feet retaining so much fluid it hurt to walk. And I had jus turned 40. I had a brand new pair of shoes and wanted to show them off, but when I directed attention to my feet, I was horrified at what they looked like.

Could you still be in 'recovery' mode following the tumor removal? Like your body still holding onto excess fluid/swelling? Do you drink enough water daily?
-
Thanks for your answers. Can you explain to me if it matters at what % your increased heart rate is during exercise? I have been exercising almost daily since May 24 and have noticed in the last couple weeks that my heart rate is no longer as high as quickly and for as long and recovers faster too. I guess that is just…

sometimes these things just take time. there are so many variables that we can't even understand. I miscarried @10 weeks in July of 1999 and then again at 6 weeks in June of 2000. Then my daughter was born in Dec. 2001. That was a long 2 1/2 years. Keep taking care of yourself, you won't regret the outcome.

I may not be there yet, but I am closer than I was yesterday. 6 months from now you won't be able to remember how those cookies tasted but you'll be able to see the results. One bad meal did not make you fat and one healthy meal will not make you fit.
-
I would like to know the answer to this too. I am considering starting to jog. I can jog in place forever, but I am scared to run outdoors. And I'm short and feel like that is a disadvantage too.

As of yesterday afternoon, we got a new collar for him and so he was no longer penned up. He did start pooping immediately when we fitted the collar and he was able to run around as he likes. His stool is normal in color and texture. We have looked through a couple deposits but did not find the fitbit. We must assume that…

He pooped. It was normal stool. No fitbit tracker though. I'd like to find it just to be reassured he doesn't have an obstructed bowel. He's still eating and drinking as normal. His behavior seems normal. He still sets off the metal detector though.....
-
I could not find any evidence that he pooped at all. Considering I made him vomit what he'd eaten earlier yesterday maybe he's not ready to poop yet? He did eat some last night and some again this morning. He's acting fine, just annoyed that he has to stay penned up. But still drinking water, etc. He's about 30 pound…

still watching and waiting= poop patrol. I just finished my workout and am eating my lunch right now so I will go check on him in just a bit.
