I don't have the Fluidity bar but I do have friends who do barre workouts and have good experiences with them..sorry to not have anything better to give you but I didn't purchase the Fluidity due to the cost for myself at this time.

Oh my gosh girl you look fantastic! Well done!!

That is a great start! It all comes down to the fact that we have to do these things for ourselves. I tried the same thing (ie: getting friends and family involved but no one wanted to play). I find the time I take to walk by myself therapeutic as it allows me to just be alone and at peace. I wish you the best of luck with…

I am 5' 8" and am currently 233.2lbs  : you can add me for motivation if you'd like as I'm always interested in friends who are active just please understand that I might not always eat 'clean' as I eat in a way that I can maintain for my lifestyle as it is currently. I don't judge others.

I think it also has something to do with the fact that when we're heavier we the weight presses the foot down and spreads the bones out a bit (hence making them 'bigger'). When we weight less there's less pressure on the foot and therefore it's not as spread/pressed out. IMHO

No that's an idea that is both really cool as well as a torture! I may have to use it

I notice that when I'm stressed, it's that little bit harder to resist the emotional eating trap and find the time to work out properly. I'm in the middle of exams right now but am making sure I take at least an hour every day to do something for exercise. It's helping I think to clear my head.

And good luck to you as well! 13 lbs in a couple of weeks is a great start! Just be careful to make sure that you're losing in a healthy way!

I don't think I'm allergic but green tea does make my throat and mouth dry out a bit whenever I try to drink it on it's own. I can drink it if it's blended with something else but usually just stay away as I'm not not overfond of the taste....weird since I love white and black teas

I truly hope for your puppy to be okay...and like the others recommend that he be sent for an xray or something to confirm the fitbit's whereabouts.

I do my best to adhere to what I've already put into the log. It does help me to stick to the planned meals and if I do add anything or have to swap out an item (ie I forgot I was out of something), I go back and adjust it. It lets me know how I'm doing and if I need to increase the workout for the day to account for any…

My mother used to run up to my father, sit on his lap for a quick cuddle, let loose a SBD and run away giggling as it finally hit my poor Dad. She didn't do it often but it was funny when I was a kid to see.

That was a pretty awesome gift to be given and very nice of your co-worker!

well wouldn't you know...I was wondering what to do with the half box of cake mix that I actually have in the pantry lol..gonna have to try this out!
Celiacs is about wheat, not carbs.
Celiac is about more than just wheat I'm afraid. My younger sibling has the disease and has to avoid barley, oats along with a few other foods that contain gluten. (Thank goodness for corn and rice products!)

I'm inspired by your bravery! And kudos to your hubby for being so supportive! I haven't blinded the world yet with my glow-in-the-dark skin yet but am getting outside to enjoy the nice weather and am impressed by you for saying to heck with it. Keep up the great work!

Way to go! That's a great NSV to have

I'm only two months into my new lifestyle and am also taking it 5 lbs at a time. It's very good to know that it's a realistic way of looking at it and your story is very inspirational. Congratulations!

I'm also in my 40s (alright just turned 41 lol) and am learning what the best ways of using this site are. For me, the tracking of my diet and exercise have been quite useful and I've made a few MPF friends that help to motivate me. I did quickly realize though that people have their opinions in the discussion groups and…
