You can also drop weight as you progress through your set if it helps. Ex:Set 1: 60lbs 5 reps, Set 2 60lbs can only complete 3 reps, 55lbs 2 reps, Sets 3-5: 55lbs 5 reps

Butternut squash or beet salad. I think that these taste better with cheese, but you could cut those out. Roast the squash/beets.

My kids really liked those. Pop them in the freezer for a yummier treat.

I snack a lot when I'm busy at work. What I've found to be best is to have lower calorie stuff on hand and to eat an extra meal instead inhaling sweets and chips all night long.

I think you've gotten some good advice. However, if gym management isn't responsive and you aren't able to get a friend/parent to go in to the gym occasionally with you, I would consider going to another gym.

Can you go to the library or for a walk instead? What about keeping low cal snacks in the house that you can eat, but don't set you back 2000 calories?

Absolutely agree with both of these points. The second point is the trickiest part of parenting imo, both parents have to be on the same page or the kid winds up losing out.

I think it depends on the sorts of things the kids are willing to eat. In general, more veggies and meat and less pasta/rice/etc is good way to go. Grill or bake/roast things instead of frying them.

Never heard of the braiding or beading. I remember when vajazzaling first came out, I think it was popular in the bridal context maybe? Didn't try it.
