  • I know I don't need to use my knees to get toned but I was hoping to run a lot as that's what I enjoy but I'm unable to do so :( Its a pain! Think I'll stretch loads like you said mm0526, I'll research further :) thanks x
  • I forgot to mention that I've been to the doctors 4 times and I've had an X ray one my knees, results coming back normal. The last doctor prescribed me Naproxin which I've been taking for a month and a half and doesn't seem to be helping.

  • Personally, I think you should have one rest day, say for example a Sunday and then do 2-3 days where you have a proper cardio session (30-45mins long) and then the other days do a HIIT workout on a bike, treadmill etc for 10-15 mins, mixing it up with some weights.   • If the machine says that you've burned roughly 700-800 calories then adjust the calories in the box where it says 1200, its just an estimate. I'd go for what the machine says because ROUGHLY if you go hard at it on the Elliptical, you burn roughly 100 calories every 10 minutes so I think the machine is right compared to…
