If they step up the exercise now that they are smaller keeping the weight off with a normal diet is possible. As far as damage , the years of being overweight were way worse

100% tear of the right as well as AC joint scrapping.. I was back to work in 5 weeks with zero use of right arm just because I could not sit on my couch any longer . I have a ton to lose & to be honest i was confused by half of what she said ( Friday afternoon before her vacation.) I have lost before but was unable to keep it off. I log everything & so far I have kept it under 75 g based on a 2500 cal. day. I am white & black kinda guy so I wasn't sure if cutting out carbs meant 0.
