  • I try and eat all of mine back. I understand the idea of more calories burned means more weight lost however, it does not take into account where the wight comes from. From what I read is that not eating kcals back and ending up with to low a overall net intake could lead to your body seeking energy from muscles. Your body…
  • I have 3 mutts (one of which pictured) respected names are Neska, Jenna, and Samson but call them Pig, little pig, and pork chop (larges to smallest).
  • I think the idea of not eating before bed was mostly geared toward simple carbs because during sleep you will not be utilizing many muscles and do not need the sugars to burn. A light protein or good fat can help to keep sugars stable and ward off "midnight snack" if that is a problem. I usually eat a casein based protein…
  • Wow, that looks amazing. So gonna have to make this; thanks for posting here.
  • Don't know the ratio for building up interested to see advice myself. As to divorce, good luck to you man always sad to see a marriage end but life is to short to live unhappy. Wish you both happiness.
  • I am really liking rye crisps and hummus. That and greek yogurt but the yogurt thing is now a staple food; mix with berries or act as sub for sour cream yum.
  • to my understanding those type can be off by like 5% what you do to compensate is to take the averages during the week. As other have stated to the electrical impedance is dependent on hydration and where you store fat.
  • I usually try to plan it out and adjust intake accordingly. Might do light workout after if I have already done daily. If sudden and spur of moment I just accept it and move on; treat the next day as a new day and don't hold over day before.
  • oh if your wondering reason heart rate drops is because heart is muscle and like any other it can build tone and become more efficient. A single beat pushing more blood though the body. Each chamber has more volume capacity because of being worked. 60-90/100 is what is considered "normal" heart rate barring any medical…

  • If you are a runner or endurance athlete you can train and build cardio to have a lower resting heart rate. I have had mine as low as 54. Lance Armstrong in his peak had his as low as 32-34 bpm (crazy) but never have fact checked that so just hear say. Seems low but who knows.

  • A,D,E,&K are all fat soluable and can be stored the rest are water soluable and will flush out in urine. They still can be taken in toxic levels but you would have to take maga does of concentrated forms such as exceeding supplement recommendation a few times over. if you are taking a multi and rest coming from food you…
  • it is not that muscle weights more it is just that a pound of muscle is more dense and occupies less space therefore two bodies of same wight but different body fat % will look different. if you google "muscle vs fat" it will show pic of difference in results.
  • They are good if you are low on intake of protein. As to worry of "bulking up" it won't happen. The men and women who are built like that have to work their butts off to get there. Same goes with weights we on lifting will not get huge just lean. As to protein do some research because some of "meal" bars have crazy amounts…
  • What is your BMR and maintenance allowance? To tone I would not cut more then 500kcal/day of maintenance with exercise. Slower process but as you tone the muscles especially if you are not already working out you will lean out pretty fast and the extra muscle can take care of the little fat you have to lose.
  • You may want to look into what your goals are set at. If set to lose 2lbs a week that is a bit steep for someone with as little as you have to lose. .5 -1lbs a week wpuld up your allowance and likely be lost at healthier rate.
  • Wow like I used this as a check list. Think I got every single one at one point when I first started. Great info.
  • Great job, such an awesome feeling. Congratulations.
  • Yay. They look great on you.
  • Congratulations. That is a rather major milestone. You have earned to celebrate it. Keep up the good work.
  • I'm a mutt and proud.
  • Would imagine ever 5 lbs is good. But is you are good about having a weigh in day a week that would likely be optimum.
  • think it is at widest part. if nothing else can do lower, mid, upper better more measurements if in question.
  • Exactly, those charts are intended for Adults and even then are a poor measure. she still has a ton of growth and development left.
  • awesome gonna try; Thanks for the tip.
  • just a few more to my goal weight then to tone up.
  • protein shakes are pretty good because they are easy and the protein in them is readily able to be absorbed and utilized. I usually combine with a good carb source to also refuel glycogen stores in the muscles.
  • I have one use it to make dehydrated fruits long process but easy set and forget. Well you might have to shift the trays some but about it. Also as others said really good for making jerky and you know what is going into it salt wise and preservative free (other then salt) just know that the shelf life is not what the…
