Monday - 725 cals (bootcamp and cycling to work). Question - is anyone checking against our logged calories? I always change the calorie count to lower so I don't eat back all my calories. I have been giving the actual totals here but if anyone looks it up they'll see my altered totals. Should I stop doing that for the…

Sounds like a non-news article to me. They quote one general practitioner, and claim to have new studies but do not reference them or give any links. Yes - excessive water can be damaging but not the amounts currently recommended to us. Looks like they just needed a filler article.

Thats hilarious!

We are going to take a trip to Turkey for our 10th but that is still 3 years away. A really fun thing we did for our 5th that was simple was we packed up some smokies and picnic stuff and drove to the local provincial park and had a smokie roast. Our 2 (almost 3) year old LOVED it and we really enjoyed the family time…

What the heck is kidnap day? I burned 200 on the treadmill. not much but my legs are killing me fron Tuesday. Who knew a 10 day holiday could get you that out of routine! Especially since I waterskied and kneeboarded everyday!

Yes - dieting is BAD when you are pregnant. However - that doesn't mean you can't limit the weight you gain ( A little bit). Focus more on eating healthy. With everything you choose to eat try to think beforehand what it is offering your baby in nutrients and with that in mind you'll eat healthier. Saying that however…

Tuesday 12th: 255 cals treadmill and weights. Sorry this is so late - I totally forgot to post it! Is it too late to double it?

I don't any more but that is one of my most common pregnancy side effects. The dr told me it was just low blood sugar and to eat more regularly. I started eating 10 pistachios between meals and that helped a lot!

Yep - totally keep lifting. I am here to lose weight and so I started lifting. You may not lose as quickly but you will get better definition and lose less muscle over fat.

Read the book 'the easy way to quit smoking' by Allan Carr. My husband and his brother AND sister all quit just by reading this book. It is written by a hypnotist. Best $10 I ever spent!

This! Unless something abnormal is happening, then it is OK but for the most part it is the same old same old.

I always go with the Mango salsa. It is super delicious and full of antioxidants. (and super easy). Plus I always get loads of compliments on it. Indredients 1 large mango(es), 1 large, diced 1 1/2 medium shallot(s), or 1 large, finely chopped 1 1/2 small jalapeٌo pepper(s), or 1 large, cored, seeded and minced (do not…

Not sure where you get the idea it is any cheaper. I thought they were pretty similar in price I think there was a $10 difference and both are claiming a 'better than 90% accuracy'

There is also another device that Costco carries called Mytrak. I have been thinking about purchasing as well. I'll be interested to follow this thread but the one thing i can add is - I had a bunch of questions about the devices and sent them into bodybug AND Mytrak. i never heard anything from the BodyBug company but…

"Agave nectar's glycemic index and glycemic load are comparable to fructose,[8][9] which in turn has a much lower glycemic index and glycemic load than table sugar (sucrose).[10][11] However, consumption of large amounts of fructose can be deleterious and can trigger fructose malabsorption, metabolic syndrome,[12]…

From what I know (and I am not a Dr) you should be eating your maintenance calories (ie not losing weight) plus 300 calories. I'm guessing you should be in around the 1900 range but it depends what your maintenance calories are. MFP will tell you that. Congrats! You must be so excited!

Drink lots and lots of water! Plus I wake up early and come work out in the mornings. (we have a full gym at my work)

I'll be on your team too. I am on holidays from June 30 - July 10th. We are heading out to our cabin which is remote and doesn't have a phone / internet signal so I won't be able to post any of those workouts till the 11th but if that is ok - count me in. There will be lots of waterskiing, kneeboarding, swimming and…

Are these sizes fromthe same store? Dr Oz did a show on Vanity sizing and it was shocking to see the difference in measurements from different stores. He had 5 examples showing a size 12 having a waist size from 33 - 38 inches depending on the store.

Me too! I love it. Except I only love the super bad for you hydrogenated oil stuff so I don't buy it anymore. :-(
