Small businesses are especially vulnerable. It wouldn't take much for the company I work for to become severely handicapped.

I know I'm setting myself up for teasing here, but try KY jelly or similar. A lot of those products are glycerin-based.

It's your tush 🤷 I think I'll just risk the ridicule and buy another mega pack of Charmin the next time I'm at the store. (J/K. I don't buy Charmin. My kids waste way too much to get the good stuff. I keep fancy paper for visitors. The rest of the time, it's the cheap stuff for us. TMI?)

Just make sure they're not the itchy kind.

I will confess to buying an extra big package of toilet paper we didn't really need this weekend. My husband stocked up on coffee. We have plenty of shelf-stable and frozen food at any given time anyway. I'll also keep the pet food topped up. For us it's more about the possibility of needing to self-quarantine and also…

If you're truly interested in the science of cooking, there are tons of YouTube series you could check out! America's Test Kitchen comes to mind (their series "What's Eating Dan" is good, too). Basics with Babish is fun. Also Alton Brown's Good Eats (not sure he's on YouTube though). And many, many more, I just can't think…

I'm glad (well not really, but you know...) to see I'm not alone in needing 400%+ rda. I was starting to think something was seriously wrong when I supplemented at 300% for 6 months and made no progress. After a whole battery of gastro tests last summer to rule out GI bleeding, I can only surmise that my periods are…

I've been fighting my way back from iron deficiency anemia for over a year now. I know iron supplements are no fun, but sometimes they are necessary. Are you currently anemic, or just basing this on a history of anemia? You should be under a doctor's care if you are anemic and following his/her recommendations (requesting…

You can also set the serving size to 1 gram and enter the number of servings as the finished weight of the dish in grams. Then just weigh what you eat and enter that as the number of servings. (I think I got that right. It's been a while since I actually bothered to create a recipe.)

Guess my request is queued up with the other 60 he has

I do find this a bit funny because it's usually the women with this complaint. OP, if you're posting a lot in certain *ahem* off-topic boards here, you're more likely to get hit up with FRs from less serious folks than those who normally stick to the on-topic boards. I did not stalk your posting history and thus have no…

You mean it's not your sparkling personality?

This place is so tame now by comparison. This thread wouldn't even break the top 10 for the week back then.
-
5 years and 491 pages later, I guarantee this thread has wandered a bit in the process. Don't sweat it.

The database is user-sourced. Most likely the entries you've chosen are incorrect or incomplete. If that's the case, you'll need to look for a correct entry (or create your own, if that function is working...)

Iron supplementation it's absolutely NOT recommended for all women of child-bearing age. The only supplement I've ever (as an experienced woman of child-bearing age) seen recommended for all is folic acid, to help prevent neural tube defects.

Revisit this thread in 2024 and let us know.

Pickle juice never expires, right? 🤷

I don't have problem with Jillian (and I think the whole Lizzo thing is ridiculous and blown way out of proportion). Just my opinion on the relatability of the picture and her post.
-
Honestly, she looks like a kid who went through a chubby phase in adolescence, like many do. While I think it's great that she was able to turn her focus to fitness and make a (very lucrative, I'm sure) career out of it, I'm not sure how relatable that picture is to most dieters who have been very overweight, probably for…

I'm holding out for zero calorie Oreos.

Terrible, and clearly wrong :grumble:

That I was pregnant  (Seriously, if that's a possibility for you, wouldn't hurt to take a test.)

This method works just fine for me as well. I usually put it on the back of a half-sheet pan and slide it onto the stone (parchment and all) from there. Extraction can be a bit trickier, but same idea. Line sheet pan up with over rack, grab edge of parchment, and pull  That said, pizza peels are nice, and I used to…

I'm at an office job, lightly active at a minimum and closer to active. I wish MFP would take that out of the description. Most people who work an office job are still more than sedentary.

I wonder how many other people did similar things after that case, not knowing or fully appreciating the severity of it? I assume her scalding wasn't anywhere near the measure of that case since the water was at an appropriate temperature.
