What do you use to calculate the calories? Is it pretty accurate?

Thank you for those scenarios. I suspect then, since my TDEE/maintenance is about 1570 and I’ve set my daily caloric goal to 1380, creating a deficit of 180. I see. I now have another issue. I changed my calorie intake to 1370 and changed my macro goals, and that change is reflected in today’s diary. But for the days after today, it says my goal is 1200 calories... I keep going back to my goals and it says I entered in 1370 calories, not 1200... 🤨

Thanks so much for the advice. I used multiple TDEE and BMR calculators online and that’s how I came up with those numbers. It makes sense since I am usually quite inactive, and am at 137 pounds. Now that I think about it, I was probably over on a few days.... by how much , I don't know. Maybe one day it was at least 2000 calories, and others it was just a couple hundred over my goal.... =/

So going over in my fat goal wouldn't really effect me gaining real weight? Yeah, the sodium really takes its toll on me, which is why I try to keep it below 1800 mg every day. I get bloated so easily!

Is 1400 or less calories a good number for trying to lose weight at 135 lb.? Should I up them? I'm not active.

Not at all. I'm kind of a freak about my sodium so I try to stay around 1500 mg a day. I also have been eating low carb for a while now, not intentionally, but a lot of the time it's under 100g. I'm 5'4".

Nice, thanks for the suggestions! I went for the sugar free creamer instead of the fat free, but I should probably just go back to using almond milk. So would you say its better to eat more calories and go over your fat limit, or to not eat anything else and stay under? (under 1200 is where I am at right now...)

Yeah I just started getting back on track, so there's not much to look at unfortunately. I do eat a lot of cheese, but I try to limit that to 1-2 servings a day. But that also contributes to the fat.
