Granted, I haven't been as strict as I use to be when I lost all my weight. But I still watch what I eat. I just notice I'm at the same number, 135. I hardly ever go over in calories and if I do, it's like one day of the week. I barely exercise but I didn't really need to when I lost all my weight. I can't afford a gym membership now otherwise I would go! :P

Note: I try to stay within 1400 calories a day.

It doesn't look like you've been using MFP's calorie counter. Might help you keep track.

Yeah, I've been slacking lately. But even when I did track consistently, I didn't lose.

Hmmm. How tall are you? Also, are you eating foods high in sodium, or excessive carbs? (I'm not talking about going low-carb, just high carb for your macros.) That might cause you to retain water.

Not at all. I'm kind of a freak about my sodium so I try to stay around 1500 mg a day. I also have been eating low carb for a while now, not intentionally, but a lot of the time it's under 100g.

    I'm 5'4".

Is 1400 or less calories a good number for trying to lose weight at 135 lb.? Should I up them? I'm not active.

5'4" and 135 is within normal BMI, I believe. I know that, at 5'0" I am within at 125 (or will be when I get there … so close!)

It's okay to want to trim up a little more. But the lower your weight gets, the harder it is going to be. I would suggest turning to resistance/weights exercises. When you build muscle, you boost your metabolism. And then focus on body fat % rather than weight, because you could be 135 and 20% or so and look absolutely amazing.
(I note that you say you're not active … I would do 3 days of cardio and 3 days of resistance for 30 minute each a week. Jillian Michaels is a great way to hit both and 30 Day Shred or Ripped in 30 really aren't that big of a time commitment. Without increasing your activity level I would say it is going to be VERY hard to lose any more, based on current height/weight)
