lovely inspiration. Thank you.

These side effects you are experiencing do not sound good. I would ditch the stuff in favour of 30 day shred or 30 day Ab Challenge and see what results you get. Dodgy supplements aren't worth it.

I'd agree - Concept 2 is the best. Bought ours 15+ years ago and it is still going strong. Just got back into it and I love it. Works cardio and muscles. Fantastic bit of kit.

Great advice. Thanks.

Dipping into the Success Stories threads, and having a supportive group of MPF friends will be big support on your journey. Remember it is a lifestyle change, not a diet. For long term success you have to buy into this concept otherwise you will be on a depressing yo-yo trip. Good luck.

I don't know the answer fully but in my experience if I drink more water my skin condition is a lot less dry - noticeable on my arms mainly. Also, I have found that doing facial exercises helps with tightening things up in the face department. Make silly faces in the mirror during morning routine in bathroom. e.g. Stick…

you are doing great. well done. Keep going:smile:

munch on a home-made protein bar mid morning and maybe some fruit in the afternoon - check out the web for recipes. Make sure you add it to your cal allowance for the day. When less nutritious snacks are offered you then are much more likely to say 'no' as you will not be hungry. Same issues has been happening to me at my…

I'm still struggling with keeping the weight off but, hey, beautiful pens.

I bought the Polar FT4 last week. (FT7 is the male equivalent, I believe). I would highly recommend it. Easy to set up and use. Feel really confident in the information it is giving me. Has really improved my attitude to fitness. FT4 was around £70 from Argos. Go for it! Good luck!

Get together with some other mums, do a stoller walk together or stoller jog together. Post-baby mums will be keen to get moving again and lose some of those baby pounds. Some local authorities (in UK) organise weekly Mums n Buggies walks or jogs in the local parks round here. I had great fun doing these some years back.…

Hi I have been experiencing the same problem. Any further forward for you?

Hello Just searched and found your post on muscle fatigue. I got very tired upper arms while at work for no apparent reason today. Also on high protein low fat/carb way of eating for some months. Also drinking a lot of soya milk - might this be the problem? If you have any insight, I'd be grateful. thanks Cherry

Some useful advice here. Thanks for raising.

Hi there, First bit of advice I would give is - don't beat yourself up about the exercise. I started with just keeping a calorie deficit using MFP. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Well, sort of. You will have good days, and not so good days. If I have a bad day, I aim for a weekly deficit, which I usually manage, no trouble. I…

Great progress. .... keep going. Don't be disheartened when the rate of fall off slows (which it will). Keep at it and it will continue to shift, but not at such a great rate as in the early days. Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE UP. You are off to a great start! Good luck!

Great thread. Some good ideas here. Making me re-evaluate my day to find time to fit in 30DS. I was doing it early mornings, but ran out of steam! I currently walk to/from work, walk to/from school run and do 10-15 mins sit-ups in the evening in front of the TV as too shattered to do anything more . Main issue for me is…

Very helpful thread Thank you!

Jumble everything up so your metabolism gets a little jolt. Example - eat only carbs at lunchtime (naughty sponge pudding or the like up to your normal calorie limit for lunch), then just have protein with a green salad for evening meal (up to your usual calorie limit for an evening meal, so in total you are still within…

On Cardio, look under 'strength training' - it does not give you much as officially MFP does not inc strength (due to variation in weight lifted etc).

Try a dance shop - the most confortable shoes I ever bought were dance shoes and they were smart enough for work, not too dressy either.

Fantastic. What's your regime?

I started it three days ago (4 if you count Sunday when i did not do it). Great stuff. Jillian is so motivating. I have to admit that I look forward to my morning sessions for my 20 mins work out. So far, so good ...
