Very good advice Shadowcub! I am watching calories as abstinence but, I also have some trigger foods that I am just not ready to eat not even a bite. Maybe someday.Time will tell. When I first started on this journey, I asked what is the definition of abstinence and found that it may vary alot.

I had the same problem! I found help through The Recovery Group. They have a Newcomers area that helped me alot. Are you working the Steps? That helps me too!

I am doing well! I will miss exercise time today. Other things going on. I guess it's all about priorities .. I will get back on track tomorrow. Thanks! Things have been going pretty good. I have been keeping up with my calories and exercise here. There was an OA meeting in town this afternoon that I went to. And I think a friend from church may work out for a sponsor for me. We are going to talk more about that. Have a great day!

Thanx! I am using the workbook. I am on chapter 3. Also, I have listened in on 2 online newcomers meetings. I got the list of available sponsors and will looking. Thanx again and I will be checking back often. It helps!

Check out Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live book. I have been vegan with a little animal products a week for almost a year. I have lost 60 lbs and fell great. I found that even steaks taste yucky now!
